Wuthering Waveshas an ample number of side quests available for players to test out their puzzle solving skills. Most of the hard puzzles are featured in the exploration quests, which unlock regions for players. However, there are a few side quests out there that have some puzzles which can be quite difficult.
The Fabled Magnetic Cube Mechanics Quest inWuthering Wavesis a 3-day quest where players have to solvethree puzzlesover the course ofthree days in real timeto complete this lengthy quest. This means, in total, there are nine puzzles to solve, each with a 24-hour gap in between.
There isno optionof using the in-game timer to speed up the quest.
How To Unlock The Fabled Magnetic Cube Mechanics - Quest One
This side quest can be found atTiger’s Maw Mine. You’ll need to find the NPC -Rambling and Wandering Engineerwho will be at the bottom of the mine in front of a steel door. Talk to him to trigger the quest and then head upstairs to find Mizhi. There are three mechanicsto solve here to complete the quest. Follow this step-by-step guide to find out how:

Talk to Mizhi when you’re done to unlock the next puzzle.
Mechanics Puzzle Two
The next puzzle is a little different as now there are barriers which willhinder the cube’s movement.
Talk to Mizhi again to unlock the third and final puzzle for Day One.

There are quite a few barriers in this puzzle, so just follow this guide to successfully solve it:
Talk to Mizhi to complete the puzzle and then wait until the next one unlocks tomorrow.
How To Unlock The Fabled Magnetic Cube Mechanics - Quest Two
Since this quest is time-gaited, you will have to wait 24 hours in real time for it to unlock. Wait for Mizhi to Unravel the Ultimate Mechanics. Since Mizhi has gone missing, Qingshu will be located on theupper level of Tiger’s Maw Mine. She will be your new NPC for this next round of mechanics puzzles to solve.
Afterward, you’ll then have to head to the abandoned mine as per the navigation to rescue Mizhi. After doing so, the quest will be complete, and you have towait another 24 hoursfor the third and final part of the series.
How To Unlock The Fabled Magnetic Mechanics - Quest Three
The final quest will once again unlock after 24 hours, so just head back to Tiger’s Maw Mine to find Qingshu and Mizhi again.
There’s a lot of back and forth in these puzzles, but remember that if you mess up, you can always leave the area and come back to a new puzzle. Additionally, you can backtrack on your previous move and continue on.
Completing all the puzzles will give players a chanceto claim a chest, so just follow the blue marker once you’re done.
