Resonators in Wuthering Waves
InWuthering Waves, Resonators are characters that can be obtained and played. Resonators are, for the most part, restricted to being acquired through the Convenes, which are part of the in-game gacha mechanic. However, there are alsoa few characters that can be obtained for freeat various points of your playthrough. Every player should end up with at least some Resonator variety after investing a bit of time in the game.
Resonator Elements & Weapons
InWuthering Waves, every Resonator will haveone of six different elementsassigned to them. These elements are set and cannot be changed, as they determine the type of damage dealt by the Resonator’s attacks in battle. By knowing the element of each Resonator in the game, you can determine which characters you may want to use alongside one another and considervarious builds and team compositions.
Weaponsare also a core feature of each Resonator, with five different types available in the game. While elements determine the type of damage a Resonator will deal, weapon type will determine how a Resonator functions in combat. For this reason, it’s also important to consider each Resonator’s weapon type toestablish a balanced build, as some Resonators may synergize together better than others.

Resonator Stats
DuringWuthering Wavesgameplay, you will control your Resonators in combat. Each Reasonator has different strengths and weaknesses determined by the numbers in their stats. Learning what each stat means can help you identify the strengths and weaknesses of each Resonator, which will help you to determine which direction you want to progress forward in foryour character builds. Every Resonator stat has been identified below with a brief explanation of what each one means, or how it affects your character in combat.

Determines maximum stamina and how quickly the stamina bar depletes.
Damage multiplier when triggering a critical hit.
Energy Regen
Increases the amount of Resonance Energy gained when using Basic Attacks, Resonance Skills, Combat Forte, and Resonance Energy.
Increases damage dealt by Basic Attacks
Increases the amount of healing provided by the Resonator.
Resonator Skills
Lastly, every Resonator inWuthering Waveswill come equipped with a set of six different combat abilities known as Resonator Skills. Knowing how each of these Skills works and what they will do in combat will enable you to become a master of battle andsurpass complicated boss fightswith much more ease.
How it Works
Basic Attack
A Resonator’s normal attack that is always available for use. The button can be held down to deliver a Heavy Attack.
Resonance Skill
Each Resonator can use their Resonance Skill to deliver special attacks, buffs to their allies, or de-buffs to the enemy. This skill has a timed cooldown between each use.
Resonance Liberation
This powerful ability only becomes available through successfully delivering other combat attacks and maneuvers, and must be charged up again after one use is expended.
Forte Circuit
This ability isunique to each Resonator. It is a Resontator’s most powerful, or ultimate, attack.
Outro Skill
Abilities that activate when a Resonator is switched out of battle.
