World of Warcraftjust showed off the three new Dragonriding traits it is adding in Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream. Players will be able to learn these new abilities immediately after taking to the skies in the newWorld of Warcraftzone.
Guardians of the Dream is the nextWorld of Warcraftpatch dropping on November 7. This major content update adds a playable zone within the Emerald Dream, a new raid, and tons of items to collect and activities to complete.

One such activity is the collection of new Dragonriding Glyphs hidden in thenew Emerald Dream zone inWorld of Warcraft. Once players find them all, they can learn three new Dragonriding traits–Swift Skimming, Wind’s Respite, and Second Wind. Like previous Dragonriding Glyphs and abilities, these new unlocks are shared account-wide, so once players do it once, they can learn these abilities without needing to collect the glyphs again on subsequent characters.

These new abilities will be invaluable for players in Patch 10.2. According to theWorld of WarcraftAmirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope has integrated Dragonriding, so players with mastery over the system will be ready to defeat Fyrakk and his minions in the new raid. Additionally,World of Warcrafthas already scheduled Dragonriding race eventsacross several old world continents, so players can look forward to using these new traits as they speed across the retro zones.
Were that not exciting enough,World of Warcraftis adding two new customizable Dragonriding drake mountsin Patch 10.2. The Flourishing Whimsydrake is a new fairy dragon-themed mount players earn shortly after entering the Emerald Dream zone, and the Grotto Netherwing Drake offered via the Trading Post earlier this year is finally getting customizations in the new patch. Players who missed out on this otherworldly dragon mount will have an evergreen opportunity to earn it in Guardians of the Dream by completing the new Dragon Keeping quest line, which features the Netherwing Dragonflight.
