Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible, is the new raidcoming toWorld of WarcraftinEmbers of Neltharion. Located in the new subterranean zone of Zaralek Cavern, Aberrus was once the secret research facility of Neltharion, the former Aspect of the Black Dragonflight more commonly known as Deathwing.

Now thatEmbers of Neltharionis on the Public Test Realm forWorld of Warcraft, players can peruse the Raid Encounter Journal to learn about the foes they might face in Aberrus. While some models, information, and mechanics are currently absent from the journal, and the raid itself is not available for testing, the names, lore, and basic mechanics for all nine encounters coming in Aberrus are now known.

Players will fight the following bosses in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible.

Players are excited by the boss list for Aberrus inWorld of Warcraft. The twisted experiments of Deathwing–and seemingly an aspect of Neltharion himself–will provide terribly interesting lore to uncover alongside Wrathion, Sabellian, and Ebyssian. Players were surprised to see Sarkareth as the final boss of the raid, rather than Fyrakk or one of the other Primal Incarnates. It seems thePrimalist leaders inWorld of Warcraftwill likely survive to be fought in a future patch.

These new encounters will be available in all of their difficulties shortly afterEmbers of Neltharioncomes toDragonflight. Though Patch 10.1 does not have an official release date yet, players can expect it to arrive around May. With the raids likely opening up a few weeks later, the race to world first for Aberrus will be an exciting way to kick off the summer forWorld of Warcraft.

World of Warcraftis available now on PC.
