Gaming’s biggest show of the year, E3, is returning this year with an all-digital event. The ESA recently confirmed the dates for E3 2021 alongside thelist of companiesthat will be partaking in it. As expected, Sony will be missing out on E3 yet again, though other major companies like Microsoft, Nintendo, Square Enix, Take-Two, Ubisoft,Capcom, and more will be present.

Capcom seems to be having an amazing year withMonster Hunter Risehaving enormous sales figures in its first week. Capcom’s next two big releases for 2021 areResident Evil VillageandMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, both of which launch May 7, and July 9, respectively. Although Capcom hasn’t revealed what it has in stores for this holiday season and beyond, a recent Capcom leak did give a glimpse of titles fans could expect in the coming months and years, some of which could be announced at E3 2021.

Resident Evil Village DLC

Resident Evil Villagewould have released by the time E3 2021 rolls out. Given howResident Evil 7received plenty of post-launch story DLCs, it wouldn’t be surprising ifResident Evil Villagefollows a similar route. Capcom could also announce aResident Evil Village Gold Editionfor 2022 that would contain the base game as well as the future DLCs.

Resident Evil Outbreak/ Resident Evil Revelations 3

Capcom’s plan to makeResident Evilan annual franchise was seemingly confirmed with the recent leak that listed fourResident Evilgames currently in development. AfterResident Evil Village,Resident Evil Outbreakseems to be the next entry that is apparently targeting a Q4 2021 release. Interestingly,Resident Evil OutbreakisResident Evil Revelations 3, according to notable leaker Dusk Golem. Furthermore, thisResident Evil Outbreakseems to be Nintendo Switch-timed exclusive title. E3 2021 seems like a perfect fit to reveal the title with a gameplay presentation.

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Resident Evil 4 Remakeseems to be gaming’s worst kept secret at this point, and E3 2021 is where Capcom could finally pull the curtains off it. According to the leak that occurred,Resident Evil 4 Remakewill target a Q4 2022 release, and as such, an E3 2021 tease makes sense. However, another rumor suggests thatResident Evil 4 Remakeunderwent some major development overhaulrecently, and so a delay could also be on the horizon.

Dragon’s Dogma 2

Capcom’sDragon’s Dogmais one of the most underrated games of the PS3/360 era. It’s been nine years sinceDragon’s Dogmawas first released and fans are anticipating a next-gen entry in this unique open-world RPG universe.Dragon’s Dogmarecently received a Netflix anime adaption which seems to indicate that Capcom isn’t done with the series just yet. Interestingly,Devil May CryandDragon’s DogmacreatorHideaki Itsuno teased earlier this yearthat his next game is in development. There are plenty of chances that it could beDragon’s Dogma 2, given that the Capcom leak also listed the game for a Q2 2022 release.

Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 5may have had a rocky launched, but Capcom has shown sheer dedication in supporting and releasing new content for it to date. However, it has been five years sinceStreet Fighter 5arrived, andStreet Fighter 6should be around the corner. Given the success and popularity of this iconic fighting game series, it wouldn’t be surprising if Capcom is getting to releaseStreet Fighter 6sometime in 2022.

Pragmata

Capcom’s brand new mysterious IP, which many believed was Hideo Kojima’s next game, was revealed at Sony’s Future of gaming show last year. There’s not much info available on whatPragmatais all about aside from the fact that it’s a sci-fi adventure game. Unfortunately,Pragmatawas recently delayed to 2023. Being a new IP, expectations from the game is sky high, and fans can’t wait to know more about this next-gen dystopian adventure.
