The Outer Worldsis a space-based RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The game was revealed by many to be a wonderfully crafted experience with an easily consumable playtime, as the game can be completed around 12 hours or 30 for completionists (compared to similar games likeFallout New Vegasthat can take over 120 hours to complete 100%).Outer Wildsis an entirely different game developed by Mobius Digital.Outer Wildsis a puzzling adventure game with a focus on exploration. The title is beloved for its charm, music, and gripping story.

But at least when looking at the logo for each game it is easy to decipher which is which–until now. Twitter user @gamemakerstk posted a logo swap of the games and the internet is now more confused than ever, making it even more difficult tochoose between playingThe Outer WorldsorOuter Wilds.
The tweet shows two images. The first image hasOuter Wildswritten out with the font and logo style ofThe Outer Worlds,with a yellow hue and a ’50s retrofuturist aesthetic. Meanwhile, the second image hasThe Outer Worldswritten out in the font and logo style ofOuter Wilds,featuring orange coloring withhints of both nature and astronomy. Confused yet? The internet is.
Both games have continued to stay in the limelight far past their respective initial and successful launches.Outer Wildshas received awards, including game of the year. As the games continue to be on the tip of the tongue of many, the mix-up for which space odyssey is which continues, and this logo swap doesn’t help.
