While theDark Pictures Anthologyis a known quantity by now, Supermassive Games' next entry in this flagship horror franchise is still mostly unrevealed.The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Mewill star a group of five unlucky protagonists, members of a film crew that had been invited to a replica of a serial killer’s “Murder Castle,” and who soon learn that they’re in a bit of trouble this time around.The very first of said five playable characters featured inThe Dark Pictures' next chapter is an investigative journalist by the name of Kate Wilder, and Supermassive Games has just revealed that she will be played by Jessie Buckley. As she’s the first revealed protagonist ofThe Devil in Me, her character in the game may end up being roughly equivalent toHouse of Ashes' Rachel played by Ashley Tisdale. Tisdale was the front-running actress for that particular chapter ofThe Dark Pictures, and her character was pivotal for the evolving narrative.
