WWE Hall of FamerTammySytch has recently broken her silence on the recent car accident, not only claiming that the vehicle she was driving at the time was hers and not her boyfriend’s, but that a sudden ‘seizure’ is to blame for her losing control and causing the accident in the first place.
Until now, Sytch had remained on the subject of the tragic auto accident in Florida’s Volusia County involving theWWEHall of Famer and two other individuals that took place last month. One of those individuals was 75-year-old Julian Lasseter, who unfortunately succumbed to severe injuries and passed away shortly after being rushed to a nearby hospital following the accident.

Sytch took to Twitter on Monday, denying her boyfriend James Pente’s involvement in the accident, claiming that the car she had been driving at the time was hers, not his, and that nothing anyone said was “gonna break [them] up, so just give it a rest.” The Hall of Famer also claimed that she had not been going as fast as the initial police report indicated and that she had only been driving 10 mph rather than 30. She also stated that believed that an ill-timed ‘seizure’ was responsible for her losing control and ultimately causing the accident. Sytch also had reason to believe that Lasseter had suffered a ‘heart attack’ prior to the accident and succumbed to that, rather than any aforementioned serious injuries he may have suffered following the incident.
Pente himself has yet to reinforce or refute Sytch’s claims, nor has he or Sytch responded to the lawsuitfiled by the Lasseter estate against them for “severe, intoxicated negligence” on the part of Sytch for her role in the accident, as well as Pente’s culpability due to the vehicle being under his name. While the Ormond Beach Police Department has publicly acknowledged to having received “part of the toxicology report,” they are not moving to file charges until the investigation is completed. The claims made by Sytch don’t exactly carry a great deal of weight to them, as her driver’s license was suspended/revoked anyway at the time of the accident and the police report, according to PWInsider, directly indicates that Pente was the owner of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz involved in the accident.
Regardless of whose car it was, she should not have been operating the vehicle in the first place, to say nothing of the litany of other driving-related offenses on her personal record, including “Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, and Driving after Driver’s License/Registration suspended/revoked.” Her claim of Lasseter suffering an “unrelated heart attack” also appears somewhat baseless,as the adrenaline spikescommonly associated with car accidents could easily explain such an affliction if it turns out he in fact did suffer one.
It is clear now more than ever following Sytch’s broken silence that she has little to no remorse for her part in the accident that took Lasseter’s life and theWWE Hall of Fameris merely trying to push past it rather than take any sort of responsibility, while innocents like the Lasseter family suffer for her actions.
