As players approach the end ofTales of Arise, they’ll find themselves leaving the newly liberated Dahna behind them in search of the truth surrounding Alphen’s mysterious past. In space, they’ll meet plenty of new people that need their help, with six additional sub-quests available in the closing segment of the game.

Most of these quests involve taking onGigant Zeuglesand other mind-bogglingly powerful enemies, with a few familiar faces even showing up in the third and final post-game sub-quest. As with other sidequests inTales of Arisethough, the rewards on offer are usually worth the effort that’s required to beat them, with plenty of Gald and SP up for grabs.
Updated June 24, 2025 by Tom Bowen:For those aiming to complete all of the side-quests in Tales of Arise, those tagged as “Miscellaneous” in the game’s activity records will likely mark the end of what has already been a long and difficult slog. Sadly, however, there are still a few more hoops for players to jump through, one or two of which will require a fair amount of skill and precision on the player’s part. This guide will explain exactlyhow to complete every Miscellaneous sub-quest in Tales of Arise, as well as the rewards that each one has to offer.

Renans and their Lords
Travel through Residential Zone 16 in Lenegis.
How to Complete Renans and their Lords
Speak to the marked NPCs around Lenegis. There are three of them in Residential Zone 16 and two more in Residential Zone 4.

Reach the Rena section of the main story.
How to Complete Tissue Sample
Travel to Rena and use the teleportation device on the left-hand side of the starting area. After arriving in the next area, follow the quest marker tothe Calamity Arms Gigant Zeugle(level 54) and defeat it. It’s weak to light attacks, so players should keep these in mind while they’re setting up for the fight. The Alexandrite accessory can also be useful, particularly for those whose party members are still below level 50.
Complete the “Tissue Sample” sub-quest.
How to Complete An Ambition Fulfilled
Defeat the Prototype mini-boss (level 52), which serves as a more powerful version of the Helganquil enemy. The battle will begin immediately after initiating the quest, so players should be sure to setup their party before speaking with the biologist. Like regular Helganquil’s, the prototype is weak to light attacks.
Complete the “An Ambition Fulfilled” sub-quest.
How to Complete The Super Zeugle
Head to the ruins in the Adan Lake area and defeat theMasher BullandMasher MareGigant Zeugles (level 56). On their own, neither are particularly challenging, but together they can cause real problems for under-leveled parties. As such, players should deal with them one at a time and attempt to put some distance between the pair if possible.
Complete the “The Super Zeugle” sub-quest.
How to Complete The Ultimate Zeugle
Travel to the Mountain Base area of Mount Dhiara and defeatthe Ezamamuk Gigant Zeugle(level 59). It’s weak against dark Artes, so players should take this into account when setting up their party.
Lab Worker A (Daeq Faezol)
Unlock Requirements
Complete the main story and then load up a cleared save file.
How to Complete The Reminiscence Device
Complete the boss rush simulation, which consists of phantom versions of the five Renan Lords as well as a phantom version of Zephyr. The Lords must first be beaten individually and then again as a group, with Phantom Zephyr the last enemy that players will come up against. This is by far the toughest battle in the game and will require a minimum party level of at least 90. The strategies for each opponent do remain the same, although they are considerably more powerful than they were earlier on in the story.
