It has been announced at Tokyo Game Show 2022 thatAssassin’s Creed Odysseywill be coming to Xbox Game Pass later today, September 15. As part of its pursuit of non-Western audiences, Xbox had announced that it would be making an appearance at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, detailing that it would have one of the first major presentations at the event. As one of Japan’s biggest gaming showcases,Xbox’s appearance at Tokyo Game Showhad many fans hyped to see what would be announced.
As an Xbox show, many were also expecting some big announcements for the company’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. Initially unveiled back in 2017, Xbox Game Pass has consistently evolved since then, bringing new titles to its roster every month and increasing the amount of day one releases gamers can get their hands on at launch. Recently,Xbox Game Pass recently unveiled its Friends and Familyplan, which allows up to five gamers to access its library through one payment method.

It was announced late into Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show presentation thatAssassin’s Creed Odysseywill be coming to Game Pass, with fans able to access it later today, September 15.
Assassin’s Creed Odysseymarks the second in Ubisoft’s trilogy ofAssassin’s Creedgames that took on more of an RPG focus. Rather than being specifically about stealth and assassinations, players inAssassin’s Creed Odysseyhave to build their characterto meet the challenges of the world around them. This can lead to some interesting encounters and unique boss fights, including the mythical creatures players can take down in the game.
The inclusion ofAssassin’s Creed Odysseyin the Xbox Game Pass library isn’t the first time a game from Ubisoft’s iconic franchise has been brought to the subscription service.Assassin’s Creed Originswas also available on Xbox Game Passearlier this year, and this could indicate that all of Ubisoft’s Ancient trilogy, which includesAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, could be on their way to the subscription service soon enough.
