Upon exploring the vast abyss of the galaxy,Stellarisplayers will encounter many anomalies, events, and situations that will require efforts in resolving them. In some cases, these events will have the chance to spawn a greater chain of events which will ultimately lead the player to a powerful Relic, which they can use once per decade.
Each of these relics has its own passive and active abilities, and the active ability costs a huge amount of Unity. Moreover, only one relic can be active at a time, making it crucial for players to know which relics to prioritize before activating one.

10The Galatron
The Rare Relic with Below 1% Chance of Appearing
Even veterans ofStellarismay never get to see The Galatron in their games. The only way to acquire this unique relic is to either massively buy reliquaries from the Caravaneers, or obtain it from other empires.
The immense power of the relic comes from both its passive and active abilities. The bonus of influence and double diplomatic weight is particularly useful insecuring one’s position in the Galactic Community. The resources can also be beneficial, even if they are random.

Empires with a focus on thepsionic ascendancy treewill find themselves wanting the Zroni precursor, due to its bonuses to everything related to psionic tree. One of these is the relic Psionic Archive, granted by finishing the Zroni precursor event chain.
The relic’s passive ability makes it easier for psionic empires to communicate with the Shroud without much difficulty. It allows a reduced cooldown in communicating with the shroud, and better odds when making a deal with it. It also grants powerful random bonuses when activated.

The newest downloadable content forStellaris, Astral Planes, adds several new relics that can shake the power balance in the galaxy. One of the newest relics, Plasmic Core, can strengthen an empire with its population growth modifier.
The active ability adds a Plasmic trait to the species which increases the habitability, growth speed, and housing usage of a population. This relic is perfect for any empire that wants to expand its dominion quickly, especially in the early gamewhen population can decide an empire’s survival.

7The Surveyor
Turn an Empty Star into One with Abundant Resources
At first glance, The Surveyor might appear rather weak due to its unassuming bonuses. Although more sensor range can be crucial in wartime, it is nothing special when compared to other passive abilities of other relics.
However, the relic shines with its active ability, which grants a random deposit to a random celestial body within the empire’s borders. This allows an empire to enhance an otherwise weak system, making it a bridge to other crucial systems.

6Crystal of Odryskia
Powerful Crystal Capable Of Granting Instant Riches
After findinga rare archaeological sitecalled Debris Belt, players can rest easy knowing that their economy is secure. Completing the archaeological site will grant a powerful relic called the Crystal of Odryskia.
The passive ability can be unassuming, with only bonuses to monthly rare cystals. However, the relic’s true power lies in its active ability to grant 60 months' worth of Energy Credits. At a production of 1000 energy credits, the crystal will grant 60,000 energy credits instantly. This can allow an empire to buy out major resources in the Galactic Market.

Defeating The Great Khan can be a race against both time and other empires. Sometimes, defeating the Khan takes a great effort, and players might need cooperation with other empires to have it go smoothly.
However, the prize from killing the Khan in the form of a Khan’s Throne will make everything worth it. The true worth of the relic lies in the active ability, which increases ship weapons damage massively. This enables an empire tostrengthen its powerful fleetfurther with minimum investment.

4Eternal Throne
A Throne Fit for an Immortal Ruler
Along with new relics, the DLC Astral Rift also introduces a new event. In it, players interact with a new being named The Formless, which exists deep in the center of the galaxy. Without giving too many spoilers, completing the event will grant a relic named Eternal Throne.
Its passive ability will make leaders of an empire immortal, rendering them powerful enough to rule the empire for centuries. Coupled with the newest updates to the leaders' system, this relic can also enablepowerful playstyles and trait combinationsthat can limit a leader’s lifespan with its trait choices.

Defeat A Dragon For A Hoard Of Ancient Artifacts
It can be devastating for an empire to have its colony held hostage by a Leviathan dragon after completing a certain archaeological site. However, it can also mean the opportunity to gain a powerful relic called The Rubricator. This relic enables a playerto play around Archaeotechnologyand minor artifacts.
With its passive ability, an empire can use Archaeotech weapons to its full potential. Moreover, the activation of the relic will grant a huge number of minor artifacts that players can use to gain an advantage over other empires in the galaxy.

Gain Gaia Worlds with Ancient Help
Gaia Worlds are desirable planets for many empires to settle on, especially when the size of the planet exceeds 20. However, they can be tricky to find. It’s rare for a player to stumble into a Gaia World. With the help of The Last Baol, though, acquiring a Gaia World is easy.
The relic’s passive ability is also powerful, but the true strength lies in its active ability. The relic can terraform a chosen planet into a Gaia World, with two added Baol. With strategic placement, a player can create a utopian planet with huge potential.

1Cybrex War Forge
Supplies Crucial Resources
Alloys have been very important for an empire to both thrive and survive in the galaxy. They are used for many things, such as shipmaking and thecreation of powerful Megastructures. After obtaining Cybrex War Forge, those activities will be easy, as this relic supplies numerous alloys with its active ability to produce resources in exchange for minerals.
Moreover, it also allows the creation of Cybrex Warform armies. These armies are very powerful and capable of taking down even the most hardened Fortress world when outnumbered heavily.
