It won’t be a surprise to many thatStarfieldis consideredone of the most anticipated games of 2023. The hype has been built up for some time, and many were left disappointed when the publisher had to push the release back, leaving the current launch date something of a mystery.
Given its outer space themes, particularly the notion that players can explore other planets,Starfieldis often compared toNo Man’s Sky. While the former’s 1,000-planet playground pales in comparison to the latter’s 18 quintillion worlds, Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi game still sounds exciting, especially considering it’s the studio’s first new IP in two and half decades. While fans have been left twiddling their thumbs in anticipation of a release date, it sounds like news on that front is imminent.

As spotted by PCGamesN, Bethesda’s official Latin American Instagram account replied to one user who asked about the game’s release. The company said that it’s looking to announce theStarfieldlaunch date “very soon.” Obviously, this doesn’t quite answer the question, but some will take comfort in knowing that the info may be announced soon. However, while fans are still nowhere close to knowing exactly when it’s going to come out, it seems as though the upcomingStarfieldevent will be the perfect time to make such an announcement.
Bethesda’s inbound deep dive onStarfieldcould well be one last hoorah for Todd Howard and his team to showcase what can be expected from the game. However, just like the title itself, it’s not clear when the event will be kicking off. One thing that is known is that this specialStarfieldshow will be taking place sometime after the Bethesda and Xbox livestream, which takes place on January 25.
Until then, all fans can do is wait and hope the game comes out soon. Unfortunately, there is a possibility, according to a rumor, thatStarfieldcould get delayed once again, but there’s been no confirmation about that at the time of writing. In any case, all questions will hopefully be answered soon so fans can have a clearer idea of when the game will actually be available.
