In addition to the two preset play styles, there are a variety of tweaks that can be made to other aspects of the gameplayregardless of which platform the game is played on. These options can be found within the menu and can be adjusted individually according to the player’s preferences and play style. These sliders can be moved at any stage in the game in the game settings menu within options. Action Mode
This option when selected will pull the camera back and slow down the action on screen. Picking this option might be a good choice for younger players who find the speedier sections of Sonic Frontiers challenging. It may also benefit players who have accessibility needs or forthose who prefer more precise platforming.
High-Speed Mode
Choosing high speed as the preferred play style will launch Sonic Frontiers using a more traditionalSonicfeeling experience. This mode zooms the camera closer toSonicto make the game feel a lot more fast-paced than selecting the action option. Players who choose this mode should be well-versed in theSonicfranchise’sfast-paced action and all his moves and abilities. The downside of selecting High Speed is that players sacrifice the precision found with the Action play style.
