Summary

In any RPG, the Fighter class is the party’s primary damage dealer. Their role is to go on full offense, and deal as much damage to enemies as possible. Fighters play a tough role in most battles. They are required to fight enemies at close range without having the HP or defense that a Tank does, or the ranged attack skills of a Mage. Dancing with the death on the battlefield, the Fighter class is vital for the team’s victory.

Solo Leveling: Arisefeatures a variety of classes, including the Fighter class. However, the game is still new, and the Fighter class doesn’t have many options yet. Of the characters currently available, some are better choices in battle than others. Here’s how they all rank from worst to best.

Park Beom-Shik rubbing his belly smiling

4Park Beom-Shik

Underwhelming Damage And Overall Use

At the bottom of the list is Park Beom-Shik. At the time of writing, Park is theonly SR Fighter among the SSR charactersinSolo Leveling: Arise. Park is a Wind type fighter, who mainly scales with defense stat. He is able to apply Knockdown and Airborne effects with his skills, disrupting enemies from moving and attacking. This helps provide room for players to deal extra damage safely.

Park plays as a simple fighter. He receives no buffs or extra powers with his basic and special skills, making him less useful than the other Fighter options in the game. However, his passive ability does allow him to scale better, since he can stack defenses with every hit from basic attack and skills. This passive also increases his attack speed and defense when his HP goes down to one-third of his total. Still, some players might not be interested in investing in a character who requires extra effort to get an average performance out of him.

Hwang Dongsoo with his fists clenched

For those who want to try him out, though, it’s easy for players to obtain the dupes of an SR character. This can increase Park’s battle prowess, making him a decent choice for players who do not have a Wind element character on their team.

3Hwang Dongsuk

Heavy Hitter In Battle

Hwang Dongsuk is another Wind-attribute SSR fighter, whois infamous in the manhwa for his nasty personality. However, in the game, Hwang Dongsuk is a strong fighter that can kill enemies easily. Dongsuk mainly scales with defense, but his offensive prowess is not to be underestimated either.

Hwang Dongsuk can consistently crowd control enemies with the help of the Stun, Knockdown, and Airborne effects on his skills. With his basic skills, Hwang can deal lethal damage. His passive takes things to the next level by providing increased defense, double damage on his basic skill, a shield, and a cooldown reset on his skill. Dongsuk can also remove shields from enemies, which can be extremely useful.

Silver Mane roaring and emitting dark aura

Unfortunately, Hwang Dongsuk gets outshone by other characters in the game. This is usually because of lack of wind content, or the lack of stages where shield removal is absolutely necessary. The game also lacks proper artifact sets for defense-based characters, thus making him harder to build. Despite all his shortcomings though, Hwang Dongsuk is a powerhouse option for players who need to kill some monsters.

2Silver Mane

Battle Beast With A Risky Playstyle

Baek Yoonho’s transformed version, Silver Mane, is a Dark attribute SSR fighter whose gameplay revolves around a very risky style. Silver Mane is a beast, and like a beast, he becomes more dangerous when he is injured. Silver Mane’s skills, therefore, allow him to deal more damage to enemies when his HP is low.

While Silver Mane is relatively simple to play, gamers may find it hard to keep him alive throughout the stage while also dealing huge damage. He requires a certain level of skill to play effectively, but for players who can reach that bar, Silver Mane is one of the best single target type fighters in the game. He’s incredibly powerful even without using his ultimate skill, which allows him to deal further increased damage at the cost of reduced HP. Players looking for a character who is tough and fun to play will enjoy the challenge that Silver Mane brings to the table.

Cha Hae-In pointing her sword towards players in an elegant pose

1Cha Hae-In

Overpowered Fighting Diva

Cha Hae-In is easily the strongest character inSolo Leveling: Ariseat the time of writing. She is an absolute must-have character in life-threatening dungeons. What makes Cha Hae-In so overpowered are her skills. Known as the Dancer for her gracious movements on the battlefield, Cha Hae-In can stack critical hits to deal overwhelming damage. This makes her the best choice for taking down enemies quickly.

When fighting enemies,Cha Hae-In can brand targets, which can increase her critical damage and hit rate. On top of her lethal attack potency, Cha also renders enemies unable to heal with her Unrecoverable effect. Cha Hae-In, overall, is the best option for players when it comes to the Fighter class — at least for now.
