There’s little doubt thatSkyrimhas the ability to make players feel unbelievably powerful by putting them in the shoes of the Dragonborn, and this was demonstrated when someone decided to basically massacre a bunch of Horkers with a Shout. Known for itsopen-world setting and huge map, deep lore, dragon battles, and hundreds of hours of gameplay,The Elder Scrolls 5has somehow maintained its position at the top of the AAA gaming industry despite being more than 11 years old.

One of the reasons for this continued popularity is how much there is to see and do in the game, while also allowing fans to live out their fantasy of being a mighty hero. One way thatSkyrimmakes players feel unstoppable is through Shouts. For those who haven’t played the game, these are abilities that allow the player to use their voice in destructive and useful ways. There are a number of Shouts that can be learned throughout the course ofTES5, and one fan shows just how powerful one of them can be.

In a recent post on Reddit, user Project_Pems really lets lose their inner Dragonborn while playingSkyrim. A clip shows them utilizing a mighty shout, in this case Storm Call, on an island completely teeming with Horkers, the walrus-like creatures that inhabit the colder parts of the land. What follows is nothing short of chaos as rain and thunder begin to unleash hell on the animals, massacring them in seconds. Viewers will see the red dots on the compass, each representing a Horker, become fewer and fewer as the storm wipes them out one by one.

While this is just a regular Shout that any player can pick up, it’s interesting to note that some in the comments have admitted that they either rarely use it or have never used it in all the time they’ve been playing. For anyone wondering whether what Project_Pems has done is cruel or not, wiping out hordes of innocent creatures, it’s worth pointing out thatHorkers are one ofSkyrim’s most dangerous animals, almost on par with the Chaurus or an aggressive Mammoth.

After years of playing, fans are still discovering things aboutSkyrim, whether it’s an elusive Easter egg or new ways to pass the time in this cold slice of Tamriel. It’s hard to imagine that anyone could possibly come across something that others have yet to see. But after all this time, it seems not everyone has experienced everythingThe Elder Scrolls 5has to offer yet.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Editionis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
