Updated on May 31, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah:Exploring Inazuma might be a hassle for some players, as the region is literally made of islands separated by the ocean. As a result, finding certain local specialties andmaterials in Genshin Impactmight be a bit harder compared to other regions. Luckily, there is a solution, and it comes in the form of Gorou’s Passive Talent to locate local specialties and mark them on the map. Players who were lucky enough to obtain this 4-Star character via the Wish Banner will have an easier journey exploring Inazuma. For instance, players can use it to reachSango Pearl locations in Genshin Impact, which is the material needed to ascend Gorou.
Sango Pearl Locations In Genshin Impact
Sango Pearl is an exclusive material found on Watatsumi. They’re mostlyfound under the reefs of Sangonomiya Shrine, but there are other locations as well. These pearls are wrapped around purple coral. The coral will remain intact after Travelers harvest the item.
Areas marked with meat-like pins mean the Sango Pearls are underground.

Sango Pearl is the pride and joy of the people of Watatsumi. This beautiful jewel can only be found in the area, as it’s said to be the embodiment of Watatsumi Omikami (Orobashi). Because it’s the pride of Watatsumi,it’s only right that they’re used forGenshin Impactcharactersthat play a major role on the island.
Since there are only 44 Pearls available in the open world, players either need to wait for four refreshes (eight real-life days) or loot the item from another player’s world. Either way, this exclusive item requires a lot of time to grind if Travelers have been procrastinating.
