The reboot of theGTA-styled open world action series was a departure from what fans have come to expect from the franchise, with poorly-received characters and dialogue. The roadmap, revealed via Twitter, features a multi-windowed graphic highlighting each month through to August, though skipping June. With Deep Silver’sDead Island 2right around the corner, it’s no surprise it’s doing a crossover event with its two most well known franchises to promote the release of itsvery long awaited zombie thrasher. TheDead Island 2cosmetic pack will be available free for players in April.
Alongside free updates that’lladd new districts to Santo Ileso, the roadmap also reveals three new expansion passes. The first of which, called The Heist and the Hazardous, will add new story missions to the game. Since some feel the narrative ended on a high note, hopefully these new story missions will expand upon that a bit. July will see the second expansion pass added to the game; a new solo mode called Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus. Lastly, the third and final untitled expansion will release in August which will also provide even more new story missions.
