As unreliable as anonymously sourced rumors are, this supposedTomb Raiderleak is very interesting to consider. If correct, Square Enix is reportedly working on an awesome collection for theTomb Raiderfranchise. Not only will it include modernTomb Raiderreleases, but also classicTomb Raidergames from previous generations. It also isn’t too far away from officially launching, as the leak claims it’ll arrive on August 27.

The news comes from an anonymously posted graphic for a product namedTomb Raider: The Ultimate Experience. The image features pieces ofTomb Raiderpromo art at the top, the logo in the middle, and then the words, “Relive Lara’s Greatest Adventures In One Ultimate Package,” with the August 27 release date at the bottom. TheTomb Raiderfranchisepackage is apparently in the works for PC, PS4, Switch, Stadia, and Xbox One.

The promo images at the top point to three different generations ofTomb Raider. The first image features a Lara Croft from the era of the original trilogy in the back half of the 90s. The second image looks like it’s from the three games in the latter half of the 2000s, i.e.Tomb RaiderLegendandUnderworld. The last image is absolutely from the recent threeTomb Raidergames made by Crystal Dynamics.

If Square Enix really wanted to, it could put together out over 10 differentTomb Raidergames in one single bundle. And if this rumored promotional art is accurate, it certainly seems like Square Enix wants to. It could even make the bundle even larger by including the isometricLara Croft and the Guardian of Lightand its sequel. If Square Enix was really daring, it could port the threeTomb RaiderGame Boy games, too.

It has to be repeated that this “leaked” image is not in any way reliable, however. While the image itself does look comparable in quality to a standard official piece of promo art, mockups like this are faked all the time. With an August release date, an official confirmation fromSquare Enixwould have to be coming soon if the leak is accurate. Fans won’t have to wait long to find out the truth.

Tomb Raider: The Ultimate Experienceis a rumored bundle releasing August 27 on PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
