In this case, the giant vampire lady has been plucked from the recently releasedResident Evil Villageand made the star ofResident Evil 3 Remake. Considering how popular the character has become online with fans, this mod should be fairly popular for those who want to run through the game again.

In the case of this particular mod, Lady Dimitrescu replaces the main character, Jill, altering her appearance and size to match that of the gigantic villainess fromResident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu has been the subject of a massive amount of online content, including cosplays, memes, andResident Evilfanart. Modder ‘Raq’ is responsible for this particularResident Evil Remake 3mod, and they have done a thorough job importing Dimitrescu’s model into the game.
Not only does the mod utilize themodel fromResident Evil Village, it also includes cloth physics for the character’s dress, and a full set of facial animations to make the character feel like she’s a proper part of the game. As the mod is just a simple character swap, the install is fairly easy, requiring only FluffyQuack’s Mod Manager and a drag and drop into the Games/Mods/RE3R folder.
Some have pointed out that Lady Dimitrescu is perhaps better suited to replaceNemesis inResident Evil Remake 3, as the two character play an incredibly similar role in their respective games. Perhaps this will be a mod we will see come out for the game soon, along with a mod to replace Mr. X inResident Evil 2 Remake. However, many would likely argue that there is something more unique about being able to step into the character’s gigantic shoes, rather than running away from the sound of them clomping around.
The internet’s unquenchable thirst forResident Evil Village’sLady Dimitrescuwill no doubt make this mod a popular download, finally allowing people to tower over their enemies and menacingly readjust their oversized hat. On top of this, the fact that Lady Dimitrescu’s model has been extracted will mean that fans of the character can expect a flurry of similar mods to come out in the near-future, especially considering the popularity of character replacement mods in other games.
