The Reddit user PaleAd6109 shared a post on thePokemon Scarlet and Violetsubreddit where they made an image of what they think the evolutions of Fuecoco could look like. The image contains the original appearance of Fuecoco with the second and third evolved forms that they believe might match the new fire-type Pokemon. However, due to therecent leaks of Fuecoco’s evolutions, the images were marked as potential spoilers for viewers on the subreddit.
For the second evolved form, the artist named the evolution Incugator as a combination of incubation and alligator. They made the evolution a little bigger with fire-themed spines on the back and tail, and the Pokemon’s primary color switched to orange with red and white on its underbelly. The Pokemon has a more relaxed demeanor with drool hanging from its mouth, and it has what appears to be an egg incubating on its head. The user even provided their own Pokedex entry in a separate post for theirtake on Fuecoco’s second evolution.
Thefinal evolution of Fuecocois much larger than the second, appearing far more crocodilian with yellow as the primary color. The user didn’t come up with a name for it yet, but they did provide an entry for it in the comment section. The third evolution is described as the “Soul Ferry Pokemon” and is a fire/ghost-type Pokemon. It’s neither wholly dead nor alive and even ferries wayward spirits to the afterlife by providing them passage on its back.
The general reception to the post has been generally positive with many in the comments section enjoying the fan-made designs of Fuecoco’s evolutions. Plenty of commenters enjoyed the different color choices as well as the descriptions the user provided on the evolved forms. WithPokemon Scarlet and Violetset to release this November, fans can expect to see even more fan art of Fuecoco and the other starters before the games come out.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare scheduled for release on July 03, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch.
