An artisticPokemonfan has made an electric Jolteon art. Jolteon is one of Eevee’s evolutions, which first appeared inPokemonGeneration 1, along with its fire and water counterparts, Flareon and Vaporeon, respectively.

Jolteon is an electricPokemon, which evolves from Eevee by exposing it to a Thunder Stone. It is a quadrupedal creature with spiky yellow fur and a white mane around its neck. Eevee now has eight branches of evolutions, including the three mentioned above, consisting of Espeon (psychic), Umbreon (dark), Leafeon (grass), Glaceon (ice), and Sylveon (fairy). The last generation that Eevee got a new evolution branch was in Generation 6, so it has been a while since fans get their hands on anew Eevee evolution.

A Reddit user called Sebbybby shared their drawing of Jolteon posing as if it is going to shock a big opponent. The Jolteon is portrayed like it is charging its electric power to use a Thunderbolt attack or other electric-based ability, with the purple accent on its eyes and ears highlighted more than usual. The drawing is complete with electric jolts, upward spiky fur, and claws coming out. The claws, which are rarely seen on the Electric-type Pokemon, make thisJolteon version resemble catsmore than anything the creature is associated with generally, like rabbits and foxes.

The user used Procreate to create theJolteon fan art, which means that they made this with an iPad. As can be seen in the comment section, other users are enjoying the art as well. One user said the claws reminded them of their cat when it decides to sit on their shoulders, where they can feel them digging into their back. Another user even makes a lengthy pitch on how great Jolteon is as aPokemoncompanion, with one of its uses being an alarm, as it gives its trainer “a nice spark to start your day.”

With people imagining all kinds of possibilities with this uniquePokemon, Eevee and its evolutions naturally have a lot of fan art. For example, there have been Eeveelutions redesigned into Neopets, an Eevee and Umbreon wall art made fromPokemoncards, and even an imagining of apotential new Pokemon evolution called Spectreon. This probably won’t be the last reimagining of Eevee and its Eeveelutions. As Eevee doesn’t have a new evolution inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans will be hungry for more fan art to quench their imagination.
