However,Pokemon Diamond and Pearlbrought an evolution exclusive to male Kirlia called Gallade, which also requires using a Dawn Stone. TheParadox Pokemon Iron Bundlealso resembles both Gallade and Gardevoir, and both Gardevoir and Gallade have Mega Evolution forms that can be accessed in certain Pokemon titles.
Given that male and female Gardevoir exist, onePokemonfan granted Kirlia a female-exclusive counterpart to Gallade. Known for their work onother Pokemon fan-made evolutions, including Hatterene and Espartha, a Reddit user named JJonnie created a female-only Kirlia evolution and posted their work on the r/Pokemon subreddit. Dubbing their creation Gallet, a mix between Gallade and ballet, the OP gave their creation the Ice and Psychic types. With a white body and skirt, and red gems adorning its chest and feet, Gallet is designed like a figure skater. Its feet are shaped like ice skates, and it has a battle pose resembling what a figure skater would take during a routine. Gallet’s hairstyle is a mix between Gardevoir and Gallade.
A Pokemon Artist Draws A New Kirlia Evolution Called Gallet
In aPokemonbattle, JJonnie gave Gallet the Slush Rush ability, which would double the Pokemon’s speed in snowy weather. While stats and moves were not posted by the OP, the Ice and Psychic dual-typing put Gallet in rare company, as it is shared only withPokemon such as Jynxand Mr. Rime. While Gallet would be favored against Fighting and Dragon-type Pokemon in most situations, Gallade would also be weak against Fire and Dark Pokemon attacks. In the comments, somePokemonfans thanked JJonnie for their contribution.
However, other users questioned both Gallet’s design and the appearance of the Gardevoir line across thePokemonseries. With Mega Evolution set toreturn inPokemon Legends: Z-A, it remains to be seen if Kirlia or its evolutions will be given a new form.
