After your first Full Moon Operation (5/9) inPersona 3 Reload, you’ll be able to start accepting Requests from Elizabeth from 5/10 onwards. These are all optional, but the rewards make them worth doing. You’ll often need to complete one Request to unlock another, and some even have deadlines that you’ll want to watch out for. One of the earlier Requests that you can accept is “Request 7: Bring me a Juzumaru.”

Other than serving as a quest item, Juzumaru is a weapon for Junpei Iori. If you’re just starting yourPersona 3 Reloadplaythrough, then you might want to equip it. As you progress throughP3R’s campaign, you can swap the Juzumaru for something stronger.

How to Unlock Juzumaru in Persona 3 Reload

Where to Find Juzumaru in Tartarus

you may get the Juzumaru from a locked chest onFloor 36 (Arqa Block)in Tartarus. You’ll needthree Twilight Fragmentsto open it. Floor 36 has another gatekeeper boss, meaning you’ll have to fight it after you’ve beaten the Heretic Magus on Floor 35.

TheDisturbing Diceand twoSlaughter Twinsawait you on Floor 36. You can Down the Slaughter Twins by usingElectricity. Unless you have a Persona with Mazio or Zio, you may want to wait before attempting Floors 35-36 until Akihiko returns to the front lines. TheDisturbing Dice has no weaknesses and resists Fire. Meaning you’ll want to refrain from using Junpei’s Agi Skill on it. Fortunately, the Disturbing Dice doesn’t resist physical Skills, so you’ll want totry and land a critical hit. The critical hit ratio can be boosted with certain Accessories or theRevolutionSupport Skill.

Your main goal here will be to get rid of the Slaugher Twins before taking care of the Disturbing Dice.Exploit their weaknesses, and hit them while they’re Down. This may cause them to be inflicted with the Dizzy status ailment, meaning they won’t be able to move on their next turn.

Once you’ve defeated Disturbing Dice, you’ll findtwo locked treasure chests. Inside the one withthree locks (which requires three Twilight Fragments to open)is the Juzumaru.

Juzumaru’s Stats & Effects

Is It Worth Using?

Juzumaru is a sword melee weapon that can only be equipped by Junpei. It has the following stats:

107

95

Critical rate up (low)

You’ll obtain and be able to craft stronger melee weapons for Junpei as you progressP3R’s story. Until then, you’ll want to keep Juzumaru equipped -especiallyfor Theurgy. Weapons with high critical hits tend to have lower accuracy to “balance” them out. Juzumaru has a low chance of landing critical hits, but for Junpei, the higher the critical hit rate, the better. Each SEES member have “Characteristics"that are used to charge the Theurgy gauge. Junpei’s characteristic increases the Theurgy gaugeeach time he lands a critical hit. Thus, you may want to keep Juzumaru until you can start getting Accessories that have effects like Apt Pupil.
