Even for gamers who aren’t planning to playDeep Sky Derelictsimmediately, it’s still worth adding to their library while it’s free, just in case they want to play in the future. To purchase the game on Steam, it currently costs $19.99, so it’s a steep saving for only a couple of button presses. It has the added advantage of being on GOG so is completely DRM-free. Many games useintrusive DRM systems like Denuvo, and it’s not popular with a lot of players. Owning it on GOG means that players own the game forever, whereas Steam only licenses games to the player. It’s a problem for in many years time, but it’s nice to live safely in the knowledge that a player’s games on GOG are their own.
