Ever since she hacked her way intoOverwatchin 2016, Sombra has had players looking over their shoulders for the slippery hero’s ambushes. She recently slipped into the spotlight again withher recent rework inOverwatch 2, which saw changes to her Stealth and Translocator, as well as the new Virus ability.
Now, fans can pick up a classic Legendary skin for Sombra for free. Talon Sombra–a skin that shows the hacker hero in the armor used by the terrorist organization fromOverwatch 2–is available alongside a Mauga spray and Highlight Intro via a Twitch drop campaign. From now through December 17, players can pick up all three of these cosmetics by watching nine hours ofparticipatingOverwatch 2streams on Twitch.
How to Get Talon Sombra for Free in Overwatch 2
Talon Sombra is not a newOverwatch 2skin, but it is a popular one nonetheless. It was first added during the 2018 run oftheOverwatchArchives event, and was briefly seen in an illustration in the Reaper short story, Code of Violence. It and the other Legendary Talon skins are available in the Hero Gallery for 1500 Overwatch Credits each, but right now, players can pick up the one for Sombra at no cost.
Sombra has had a lot of time in the spotlight recently. In addition to her rework, Sombra was one of the characters spotlighted in the LE SSERAFIM xOverwatch 2crossover event, receiving both a skin and an appearance in the accompanying music video cinematic. Additionally, Sombra played a major role in the new animated short that was dropped alongside Mauga, her loose-cannon coworker. Were that not exciting enough,Overwatch 2developers have teased an upcoming Sombra skin that is apparently her best one yet. While it does not seem to be among theskins coming inOverwatch 2Season 8, Sombra fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for it in the coming months.
