One PieceChapter 1071 gave the readers a lot to think about. The first few pages were dominated by Bartholomew Kuma, who was last seen on Kamabakka Island with the rest of the Revolutionary Army. Although Kuma didn’t spend too much time with them, it seemed there was something bothering him constantly. Whatever the reason, Kuma used the power of his Nikyu Nikyu no Mi to send himself away from the island, and up until now, his location remained a complete mystery toOne Piecefans.

Apparently, Kuma wanted to go to Red Port, but the reason is still unknown. As the chapter continued, the focus shifted back to Egghead Island, where CP0 was looking for a way to penetrate the Frontier Dome. Due to what seemed like a sheer stroke of luck, the defenses went offline, giving CP0 an opportunity to enter. Immediately after getting inside the Frontier Dome, the members of CP0 decided to destroy the Thousand Sunny. Kaku decided to attack the ship, but it was stopped by Roronoa Zoro. Vegapunk and his satellites were watching things unfold and trying to come up with a plan to get off the island.

Calling The Mystery Man

While discussing their possible options,Pythagoras said they have another allyon the island that could possibly help them to deal with the current situation. However, Edison was quite apprehensive because asking this mysterious person for help would make them a target for the World Government’s wrath.

Edison’s concern didn’t seem to bother Vegapunk, who wasted no time in calling this ally. The person on the other end seemed to be gearing up to go, and there is a high possibility that they will be involved in the very next chapter. From the chapter, it was evident that Oda was trying to keep the identity of this ally a secret, as he kept the dialogue to a minimum and didn’t even show the face of the transponder snail, which could have provided more hints about this person.

Who Is The Mysterious Person?

At the moment, there are no major clues about the identity of the enigmatic person; however, many names have been circulating around in the community, some making more sense than others. One of the names that is being repeatedly thrown around is Fujitora. Hebecame an Admiral during the time skip, and he made his debut in the Dressrosa arc. Fujitora believes in morality and puts it above his duty as a Marine. Fujitora’s actions in Dressrosa placed the sword of Damocles over his head, and it came down when he talked to Akainu. The current Fleet Admiral banned Fujitora from setting foot on any naval base unless he made amends for his faux pas.

Fujitora has made few appearances since then, but it was revealed that he was fighting the Revolutionary Army in Marijoa. Unfortunately, Fujitora and his fellow Admiral, Ryokugyu, failed to stop the criminals from helping Bartholomew Kuma. This failure would have only annoyed Akainu further, and knowing his anger, he would have sent Fujitora away or rebuked him even more. So, Fujitora would have to find a place to take refuge, which is how he ended up at Egghead Island.

Previously, Fujitora had also unequivocallyopposed the idea of the Shichibukai. He had also expressed his belief in the SSG’s experiment, which was later revealed to the Seraphim Project. This implies that Fujitora might have met Vegapunk at Egghead Island to discuss SSG’s project, and they could have formed a good relationship. While Fujitora being at Egghead does make sense in some ways, there are certain things that go against this idea. Firstly, fighting against CP0 would mean making an enemy out of the World Government itself. Secondly, while Fujitora does value morality a lot, he hasn’t defended pirates. Finally, Fujitora would lose his role as an Admiral and would be labeled a criminal.

How This Affects The Story

If Vegapunk’s ally is indeed Fujitora then the Straw Hats will get a major boost, and they could easily escape from the island.Fujitora’s Zushi Zushi no Miis an extremely overpowered devil fruit, and it allows him to manipulate gravity. With the power of his devil fruit, Fujitora can make short work of all CP0 agents, including the three masked assassins. There is a small probability that Vegapunk might have given him an “Authority Chip,” which would grant him control over the Seraphim.

With Kizaru already on his way to Egghead Island, there is a possibility of the two Admirals facing off against each other. However, there is a strong possibility that the aide is not Fujitora but someone else. Another popular name is that of Scooper Gaban, a former member of the Roger Pirates. If this turns out to be true, then fans will go into a frenzy. Scopper Gaban used to sail with the Pirate King, and he was undoubtedly a very strong character. So far, he has only appeared in the flashback, but this might be the appropriate moment to introduce him. Considering his level, it would be child’s play for Gaban to defeat CP0. While Gaban being on the island could be considered a stretch, Oda does have a habit of subverting expectations and going with the crazier idea.
