Needless to say, this mysterious person is incredibly important to the overarching plot of the story, especiallywhen it comes to reaching the Final Island, Laugh Tale, and claiming theOne Piece. Very few things have been revealed about the Man with the Burn Scar so far, however, fans certainly need to keep a few things in mind about him.
7Introduction
The Man with the Burn Scar was introduced to the fans towardsthe end of the Wano Country arc. He was first mentioned by the Kid Pirates shortly before the three Worst Generation pirates set out on the journey. According to Killer, if they wanted to claim the One Piece, they needed to get serious about the Man with the Burn Scar.
Kid had no idea where this person would be and, by the looks of it,the Straw Hat Pirateswere clueless about his identity. While Luffy asked about this mysterious person, Kid refused to fill him in as he wanted to stay one step ahead in the race.

6Covered In A Scar
One of the things that fans can identify the Man with the Burn Scar is through his iconic scar. He is often known as the Man Marked by Flames or the Man who has a Burned Scar. As is evident from his name, he can be easily identified by his tattoo.
Whether he was actually marked by flames in an accident or he has a tattoo of flames somewhere on his body remains to be seen. For now, what fans know is that he possesses a flame scar somewhere on his body, likely on his face.

The Man with the Burn Scar is very important when it comes to the end game ofOne Piece. He possesses the fourth Road Poneglyph, as was hinted at by the Kid Pirates and revealedby the Blackbeard Pirates.

While Big Mom and Kaido had one Poneglyph each and Zou held one of them, the last one was a mystery to the fans, that is, until now. Finally, it has been made pretty clear that the last Poneglyph is in the possession of the Man with the Burn Scar.
4An All-Black Ship
The Man with the Burn Scar is known to sail on an all-black ship. From what the fans have seen so far, his ship is entirely black. The outside of his ship is painted black and the sails that he has on his ship appear to be black as well.
Fans have not seen any ship like this one in the story so far. The closest a ship gets to this would be the Wind Grandma, which is the flagship of the Revolutionary Army and is captained by Monkey D. Dragon.

3Whirlpool Powers
The Man with the Burn Scar is also known to possess some powers. These powers are directly responsible for him being able to keep the last Road Poneglyph safe for so long. It is believed that whoever tries to approach the ship of the Man With the Burn Scar ends up sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
From what was revealed during the conversation between Kuzan and the Blackbeard Pirates, the Man with the Burn Scar is able to create whirlpools and sink ships to the bottom of the ocean, keeping them from approaching him at all.

2A Devil Fruit User
The Man with the Burn Scar is also a Devil Fruit user and this is quite clear for the fans to see. His whirlpool-related powers seem to stem from a Devil Fruit, as was theorized by Lafitte. It is also possible that he doesn’t have powers related to whirlpools but, instead, has the power of air or sea currents at his aid.
Using this power, he can, perhaps, control the currents, thus creating whirlpools and sinking ships to the bottom of the ocean. Fans will find out more about this mysterious person as the story reaches its conclusion.

1Connected To Gol D. Roger
It has been implied that the Man with the Burn Scar is someone related to the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. While this relationship doesn’t necessarily have to be a blood one, this person could know the former Pirate King on a personal level. This is hinted at from the fact that only Roger knew the location of all the Road Poneglyphs.
In fact, the one in possession of the Man with the Burn Scar was previously on Fishman Island. Not only did this person know this secret somehow, but he was also able to take the Poneglyph on his ship and King Neptune had enough trust in him to allow him to do this.
