Updated on June 11, 2025, by Rei Penber:The Hito Hito no Mi is one of the most diverse types of Devil Fruits that fans have seen in One Piece. This fruit is special in more ways than one, given that it has quite a lot of subclasses as well. The Hito Hito no Mi has only been elevated both in terms of power, and of course, importance as well, the more One Piece has been going on. In the final saga, some variants of the Hito Hito no Miare more important than any other Devil Fruits in the entire series, and that goes to say a lot. That said, given the many types of this Devil Fruit, fans might have quite a lot of trouble understanding the true nature of this Devil Fruit. As such, this list has been updated with a proper and detailed explanation of what each Devil Fruit does, what its biggest strength is, and of course, what benefits it grants to the user.
4Hito Hito no Mi
User: Chopper
The Hito Hito no Mi was eaten by none other than a doctor ofthe Straw Hat Pirates, Chopper. This Devil Fruit is incredibly useful for the reindeer as it gives him the powers of a human. At the same time, it made him incredibly smart and granted a certain level of wisdom to him. With the powers of the rumble ball, Chopper can access different forms of this Devil Fruit. So far, he has created 7 points, the strongest of which is the monster point.
Its powers are such that Chopper can compete with some very strong New World pirates to some extent. Inthe Wano Country arc, Chopper was able to put up a fight against Queen the Plague for 30 minutes, which is nothing short of impressive. It must be noted, however, that he wasn’t able to hurt Queen at all and the latter was humoring him, if anything. Nonetheless, the power of the Hito Hito no Mi showed significantly in this fight.

3Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Onyudo
User: Onimaru
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Onyudo was recently introduced inOne Pieceduring the Wano Country arc. From all the Hito Hito no Mi Devil Fruits, this is one that fans have seen least of so far. This fruit was eaten by none other than Onimaru, the loyal fox of Ushimaru, the Daimyo of the Ringo region of Wano Country. Onimaru consumed the Devil Fruit some time after the death of his master and this fruit granted immense power to him. The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Onyudo allows him to transform himself into a giant human monk warrior at will.
When in this form, Onimaru goes by the name of Gyukimaru of the Oihagi Bridge. Over the years, Onimaru has used the powers of this Devil Fruit to guard Ringo and all the graves there that carried weapons. More importantly, he stole weapons from other people and added them to his collection, which just goes to show that this Devil Fruit grants a massive power boost to him. With its powers, he was able to contest even Zoro for an extended period of time without much trouble. The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Onyudo also falls in the Mythical Zoan category but fans don’t know much about it as its powers were barely displayed in the Wano Country arc.

2Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu
User: Sengoku
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu is a subtype of the Hito Hito no Mi and falls in the Mythical Zoan class. This fruit was eaten by none other than the former Fleet Admiral of the Navy, Sengoku. Being a Mythical Zoan, this fruit is extremely special, considered to be rarer than even the famed Logia class of theOne Pieceworld. This fruit allows him to turn himself into a giant golden Buddha at will. As expected, Sengoku can also use the hybrid form of this fruit, however, it is unknown what exactly that looks like.
As with all Mythical Zoan fruits, this Devil Fruit allows Sengoku to use a special ability that is unique to him. In his case, he can create shockwaves from the palms of his hands. These shockwaves are known to be exceptionally powerful and in the Marineford arc, they proved to be a match for the quakes produced by the Gura Gura no Mi. As expected, this fruit is extraordinary and more of its powers will be revealed to the fans later on in the future.

1Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika
User: Monkey D. Luffy
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model:Nika was recently revealedin the story during the Wano Country arc, however, the fruit is actually the very first one to be introduced in One Piece. It made its debut in the very first chapter of the manga and was seen during Luffy’s flashback. The fruit was originally stolen by Shanks from a government vessel that was guarded by none other than the CP9 member, Who’s Who. This fruit was then brought over to Fusha Village in the East Blue where Luffy ended up consuming it.
To the rest of the world, this fruit is simply known as the Gomu Gomu no Mi, but its powers are far greater than that. The true power of this Devil Fruit, however, only comes forth when it is awakened. This fruit grants the user a rubber body and the ability to fight with immense freedom, bringing smiles to the faces of all the people in the world. Once awakened, these powers get even greater and the user fights with even more freedom. It is believed that there is no power more ridiculous in the entire world.
