How to Play With Friends in Once Human
When it comes to playing with friends inOnce Human, the most important step is to firstensure that all players who wish to participate in the multiplayer session are playing on the same server.
As characters are locked to servers, you will need to ensure that your group of friends either all create characters at the same time on the same server, or are particularly careful about making sure they select the same server as everyone else when making a new character and getting set up at any later point.
In addition to being on the same server, you will also need to beplaying on the same worldwithin that server as the friends you are wanting to team up with. Luckily, if you happen to be playing on the same server as your friends but are currently exploring a different world,you’re able to change worlds with the use of a Teleportation Towerto help make teaming up possible.
After ensuring that all players have selected the same server for their characters, everyone involved will need to have completed the game tutorial. After doing so, you will finally get the opportunity to get started with exploringthe open worldaround you.
The game tutorial should take no longer than approximately 20 minutes to complete, so nothing more than a short wait while everyone gets prepared.
Upon unlocking this possibility to begin exploring the open world, you will also gain access to new features and tabs, such asthe Social tab. Within the Social Tab, you will be able to create aWarbandor Hive, which enables you to invite friends and other players who are online within the same server and world in which you are currently playing.
From the social menu, you cansearch for friends by their in-game username, add them to a group, and then either create a Hive with up to three other players, or a Warband, which includes several Hives. Now you will be able to group up and experience survival in this strangepost-apocalyptic, supernatural worldalongside some comrades, which only makes things that much more entertaining.
Alternatively, you can approach a player inside the game and press the Z key to view their UID, and add them. You will then be able to form a Hive or Warband with this player.
