The console has blue and yellow joy-cons and there is also a picture of the battle bus on the right-hand joy-con. This color scheme will likely impress fans alongside its subtle nods toFortnite. The new look forNintendo Switchmay not sway some consumers but alongside this release are some intriguing pieces of content forFortnite. Consumers who pick up this version of the Switch will receive 2,000 V-bucks, which work out to $9.99 per 1,000. This will be a nice in-game bonus, particularly when it is accompanied by the Wildcat bundle that gives players a new skin.

This collaboration will be available in Europe (October 30), and Australia and New Zealand (November 6th), but there has been no statement about a US release yet. The console is limited edition and with that in mind, some players will want to get it as soon as they can, particularly whenFortnitehas been a hit in the European region andNintendo is increasing production of the Switchto meet demand.

Exclusive iterations of the Nintendo Switchare usually a hit with fans and it will be interesting to see if this can be replicated alongsideFortnite.
