A new third-party hardware developer known as CRKD has revealed a newNintendo Switchaccessory that claims it will eliminate the console’s stick drift issues. This accessory is known as the Nitro Deck and has been created to work with both the vanilla Switch and theOLED Switch models. There have been plenty of accessories that have been created for Nintendo’s popular hybrid console, though many of them are side grades that allow gamers to use the Joy-con controllers differently, or help improve the Switch based off the existing functions. This new accessory claims that it will help solve an infamous issue with the console: stick drifting.
The Switch has been rather infamous for the amount of stick drift that frequently occurs with its Joy-con controllers. For the unaware, this phenomenon causes a controller to detect inputs where there isn’t any, which can be frustrating since it can cause players to make more mistakes than if it wasn’t drifting. Joy-con drift is such a problem that there’s been a lawsuit over the controllers, alongside otherthird-party hardware companies trying to solve Joy-con drift. The latest company to try their hand at solving this issue is CRKD with this new product, the aforementioned Nitro Deck.
