The first set of the Bracket Busters Spotlight Challenges forNBA 2K22is now available for gamers to participate in, and a new series pack is available in the2K Games MyTeam mode. These offline challenges give players a variety of tasks to complete to gain new cards and enhance their lineup. This first set doesn’t offer the most powerfulNBA 2K22units ever released, but it’s something players can still find some use of. Unfortunately, the challenges are only here for 17 days, ending in conjunction with the conclusion of Season 5.RELATED:NBA 2K22 Getting Limited Season 5 Event Alongside Two New Dark Matter CardsUnlike previous 2K Spotlight Sims, the Bracket Busters challenges will run through the Agendas alongside the typical method of completing individual games. Players will use Bracket Busters rewards to fulfill tasks such as scoring a double-double, making specific amounts of dunks in a game, and scoring an overall point total in a game. One interesting note is that once players embark on the journey to complete the tasks, they’ll be required to continue using the roster that set throughout the challenge. This will allow players to calculate and determine strategies ahead of each game while utilizingNBA 2K22’s Dynamic ratingsystem to build a team focused on scoring as many points as possible.

There are plenty of ways for players to quickly accomplish these tasks and earn all the rewards during the campaign. On offense, a high pick-and-roll is exploitable to give players an easier shot at the hoop. The AI will occasionally detect the screener and send a defender to break it up, but all it takes is scooping the ball out and trying the play again. On defense, players will want one ofNBA 2K22’s best shooting guardscovering the AI’s worst three-point shooter to allow for maximum defensive coverage. This allows players to protect the lane without the threat of a three-point shot by the AI.

Along with the release, 2K Games has released an all-new Elite Super Pack, allowing players to collect units previously released in series packs such as Flash, Iced Out, and Hunt 5 Glory. While there are no newDark Matter units like the Karl-Anthony Towns release, players will have a chance at collecting new Galaxy Opal releases in Joel Embiid, Donovan Mitchell, and Chris Paul from the new pack release. Players can also guarantee themselves one of the three new units by purchasing the 10-pack box set. The Elite Super Pack is only available for 24 hours, so time is of the essence to collect the Flash 5 Michael Jordan and Iced Out Chris Bosh.

NBA 2K22is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
