Very few anime have reached the level of success thatNarutohas, and that is because fans love the series' action and characters. Most of the characters are ninja who belong to a hidden village or organization. All of these ninja are human, and they typically battle other humans, but there are times when they must fight individuals who are not human. These non-human characters come in various shapes and sizes, but some are far stronger than others.
Naruto’s non-human characters are typically used as summonings, and they tend to be animals like toads, snakes, and dogs. These animals can use chakra and perform ninjutsu. There are sentient beasts made of chakra who can wipe out cities, and there are even extraterrestrial beings who can manipulate space.
10Katsuyu
Katsuyu is a massive slug who lives in Shikkotsu Forest, and she is the personal summon of Tsunade and Sakura. Thanks to the Slug Great Division Technique, Katsuyu can avoid large-scale physical attacks by dividing her body into countless smaller versions of herself. These smaller slugs are all fully functioning Katsuyus, and they can recombine at any time.
Katsuyu’s body can withstand a great deal of damage, and she can heal others by channeling her summoner’s chakra. Katsuyu may be a supplementary summon, but she can also attack by spitting acidic paste from her mouth.
9Manda
Ryuchi Cave is the home of the snakes, and Manda seemingly ruled the entire region when he was alive. Manda was the personal summon ofOrochimaru, but he only served Orochimaru because he could not defeat him. When Orochimaru lost the use of his arms, Kabuto feared that Manda would turn on him.
Manda was a proud snake with a superiority complex, which is understandable since he was considered the largest and strongest snake in the world. Despite his size, Manda was incredibly fast. He easily avoided attacks from both Katsuyu and Gamabunta, and he could quickly constrict Katsuyu with minimal effort. If it were not for Tsunade, he would have killed Gamabunta.
8Gamabunta
Gamabunta is the chief toad of Mount Myoboku, and he has made summoning contracts with Jiraiya, Minato, and Naruto. As a toad, Bunta has an affinity for Water Release, and he can use it to fire massive blasts of water. He can also produce oil from his mouth to amplify the strength of his summoner’s fire techniques.
Bunta has helpedthe Hidden Leaf Villagenumerous times. He fought alongside Leaf ninja during the Second Great Ninja War, and he helped to subdue the Nine-Tails when it attacked the village. He fought Shukaku - a Tailed Beast - on pretty equal ground, and he helped Naruto during his fight with Pain.
7Giant Multi-Headed Dog
Pain was a great villainbecause of his motivation and god-like powers. These powers came from the Rinnegan, including the Animal Path, which allowed him to summon various creatures during combat. One of the summonings was a large brown dog that had numerous black receiver piercings and Rinnegan eyes.
Pain modified this summoning with the Amplification Summoning Technique. This technique allows the dog to split every time it gets hit, and the process will continue until there is a large pack of dogs. The dogs can merge back together to form a multi-headed dog. Pain stated that this summoning can only be defeated if the original summoner is taken down.
6Shukaku
Shukaku the Sand Spirit is the Tailed Beast that was sealed insideGaara, and he looks like a massive raccoon dog with cursed seals all over his body. He can use Earth Release, and he can fire powerful blasts of air with Wind Release. He can also manipulate sand with the Magnet Release kekkei genkai.
Shukaku may only have one tail, but he is still capable of destroying a major village on his own. His strongest attack is the Tailed Beast Ball, which is a concentration of positive and negative chakra, and it has the power to vaporize a small area.
5Saiken
Saiken is the Six-Tails, and it was previously one of the Hidden Mist Village’s Tailed Beasts. It is an enormous bipedal slug, and its body is very durable because it is covered with a thick, slimy substance. Saiken mainly uses Water Release, but it can also produce a sticky substance from its mouth.
It can use the Tailed Beast Ball just like its siblings, and it can create explosive bubbles with the Soap Bubble Technique. Saiken is the only Tailed Beast that can produce a corrosive liquid and gas that can instantly disintegrate objects.
4Gyuki
The Eight-Tails' real name is Gyuki, and he currently resides within Killer B. It took some time, but they eventually became friends, and as a result, B becamea perfect Jinchurikiwho could use all of Gyuki’s chakra. Gyuki’s tails look like tentacles, but he has the head of a bull.
He can produce ink like an octopus to blind his enemies. Gyuki can use the Tailed Beast Ball, but unlike most of his siblings, he can supercharge it to deal more damage. His physical strength is immense, as he was able to temporarily restrain Kurama while overwhelming two charging Tailed Beasts at the same time.
3Kurama
Kurama was the Nine-Tails, and he was sealed insideNaruto Uzumakiwhen he was a newborn. He was consumed by hatred for a long time because he was not fond of being used as a weapon, but Naruto was able to form a genuine bond with him.
Kurama was the strongest of the Tailed Beasts, as evidenced by the fact that he was able to overpower five other Tailed Beasts while at half-power. He was at full power after the Fourth Great Ninja War, and he was able to beat Toneri’s golem and Momoshiki’s elemental construct.
2The Ten-Tails
The Nine-Tailed Beasts were created from a single entity known as the Ten-Tails. This titanic creature is the Tailed Beast incarnation of the God Tree that was cultivated byIsshiki and Kaguya Otsutsuki.It had several forms, and they were all deadly.
The Ten-Tails could produce a Tailed Beast Ball that could destroy entire landscapes. It could create fission beings of various sizes and shapes that could defend it if it was immobilized. Its roar could produce large-scale natural disasters. It was powerful enough to flick one of Gyuki’s Tailed Beast Balls with a single finger.
1Kaguya Otsutsuki
Narutofans may not like Kaguya, but no one can deny her strength. She was part of the Otsutsuki clan - a clan of alien beings who cultivate God Trees on planets to harvest chakra fruits. Thanks to the Byakugan, Kaguya could see chakra and her opponent’s vital spots.
She also possessed the Rinne Sharingan, which allowed her to travel through dimensions. She could transport others to these dimensions, and she could launch potentially fatal attacks by opening dimensional rifts. With the All-Killing Ash Bones Technique, Kaguya can produce bones, and if they pierce someone, they will die via disintegration.
