As they approach the last player on the enemy team, they slowly move forward reinforced by their impenetrable riot shield. As is usual in riot shield builds, they pull out a throwing knife and lob it at the enemy to no success. It is not until they go for the second throw that sometimes remarkable occurs in a matter of seconds.
At the same time as theknife leaves theModern Warfareplayer’s handthe enemy tosses out a pack of C4. While normally the enemy would be safe as the C4 still had some distance to travel, instead the knife impacted the explosive and caused both players to immediately die.
The clip is made perfect by the follow-up mid-round dialogue as the enemy can clearly be heard asking “Did you just knife my C4?” As the clip plays back slowly it becomes clear that yes, that is exactly what happened at that moment,detonating theModern Warfareplayer’s C4 way too earlyand killing both players.

While it is unknown if they won the game, that round makes up for everything else that could occur during the match. While both players laughed off the encounter, fans now know it is possible to knife a C4 and cause mutual devastation.
