One creativeMinecraftfan has shown off models of what various Pokemon would look like in the game’s art style.Minecrafthas always been a font of creativityfor anyone who gets their hands on it, thanks to its ease of use, and it’s modding community is no different. With the tools provided, players have been able to not just create entire expansions to the game that add so much, some have even made their favorite games inMinecraftitself, one being the fullPokemongame made inMinecraft. Of course, being one of the most popular games of all time, it was bound to have some fan crossover withPokemon. One person has added onto that with theirMinecraftdepictions of well-knownPokemon.
For many who know aboutMinecraft, players have been using it to show their love for the games they play, like when one player created theAstral Clocktower fromBloodborneinMinecraft. With that amount of affection for their favorite series, there was no doubt thatPokemonfans would eventually bring it to the game, with some not just creating pixel art for their favorite Pokemon using the in-game blocks, but even creating those Pokemon to be put inMinecraft.

OneMinecraftandPokemonfan decided to depict some of the more well-known Pokemon inMinecraft’s famous art style. Posting to r/Pokemon, user Deliwtz uploaded four GIFs of Pokemon being brought to life asMinecraftmodels. In the post, the Pokemon they show off are Celebi, Darkrai, Sneasler, and Tinkaton,a Pokemon who is known for what their hammer is used for. While the first two are very well-known in the community, the last two are some of the newcomers fromPokemon’s latest release,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
All four of thesePokemonare lovingly remade inMinecraft’s art style and animated as well, with even Sneasler running with the infamous Naruto run. In the comments, the poster of these four renditions stated that they are creating these for PokeCube, an open-sourceMinecraftmod that allows players to add Pokemon as they wish.
The creativity of theMinecraftmodding community is as wide as the world ofMinecraftitself: always creating more and more to suit the needs of the players. Even whenThe Pokemon Company shuts down the famous Pixelmon mod forMinecraft, there are people there to not only pick up the pieces, but add onto it, makingMinecrafta community where people can enjoy some of their favorite game series without even needing to play the games themselves.
Minecraftis available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
