As a Klown inKiller Klowns From Outer Space, your goal in the game, just like in the1988 film of the same name, is to bring about the Klownpocalypse in Crescent Cove. However, you have two ways at your disposal to do so. You can either put humans into cocoons, or outright kill them. Understanding which action is best and when to perform these actions at the right time can take time and effort. Each action has pros and cons, which dictate when you should perform each one. Here’s how to know whether you should cocoon or kill humans inKiller Klowns From Outer Space, and what happens after you do so.

Should You Cocoon or Kill Humans in Killer Klowns From Outer Space?

When playingKiller Klowns From Outer Space, you should base your decision to either cocoon or kill humans on your goals for the match. To gain many experience points and level up, you should cocoon humans. However, if you aim to end the match quickly, you should kill them to remove them from the game immediately. The advantages and disadvantages of both choices in are explained in detail below.

Should You Cocoon Humans?

As mentioned above, you willearn many experience points by putting humans into cocoonsusing your cotton candy guns. Once they’re inside, you can earn more XP by hooking them onto a Lackey Generator. Finally, you’ll earn additional points whenever a Lackey Generatorspawns a Lackey. You can also lower the time it takes for your abilities to become active for every Human hooked on a Lackey Generator, giving your whole team an advantage earlier in the match.

However, Humans have variousways of getting out of cocoons. This can lead to some interesting situations where they escape and can continue to complete their objectives. A human can escape from a cocoon while inside it, or another can unhook them from aLackey generator. If a human escapes while you are carrying it, then you will be stunned, which allows them to attack you or run away.

Should You Kill Humans?

You won’t earn nearly as many experience points by killing Humans inKiller Klowns From Outer Space, but the primary benefit is removing them from the game entirely. Removing them will lower the number of humans completing objectives and trying to escape from various Crescent Cove maps. If you find a squad of Humans attacking you or the other Klowns and just being general nuisances, killing them is the best option.

However, you will lose out on earning lots of experience points, spawning Lackeys, and bringing about the Klownpocalypse sooner, since that requires you to harvest humans. What’s more, Humans can use the resurrection machine once per match to bring back all dead humans, regardless of how they died. You must plan how you deal with them appropriately depending on whether the human players have used the machine to return their fallen brethren to a match inKiller Klowns From Outer Space.
