How to Find a Sickle

Much like other common resources inSkull and Bones, you will need to be familiar with two facets of Jute harvesting in order to collect the resource in large quantities. The first of these is which tool you require, which is a Sickle, and the second is where to find areas where Jute is grown.

You will acquire a sickle for all of your plant-cutting needs early inSkull and Bonesas part of your progression through the introductory stages of the game. You can acquire a sickle from any Carpenter vendor, which is where you will also upgrade all of the tools you will need for resource collection, such asthe crowbar.

How to Find Jute

Once you have a sickle in your possession, harvesting is a matter of locating where the plant is grown and taking your ship there, either by sailing orfast traveling to another nearby settlement. The Jute symbol is fairly easy to recognize and is distinguished by the symbol that resembles wheat. Any simple with a light brown-yellow stalk and three leaves will indicate the presence of Jute.

How to Harvest Jute in Skull and Bones

As is the case whenharvesting Acacia, another common resource inSkull and Bones, acquiring Jute is a matter of sailing to a place where the resource grows and participating in a short mini-game to collect it. There is an element of skill involved in harvesting the plant, and you will be either rewarded for your quick reflexes or punished for your poor timing.

Once you approach a Jute plant, you need only press the indicated button to begin the harvesting process. Once it starts, you will be prompted to hit another indicated button at the right time to harvest the plant fibers. Each turn, a line will move down an image of the plant, passing over yellow and green zones. If you hit the yellow zone, you will be successful, as is the case in the green zone, except landing on green will reward you with a Jute bonus. If you miss both zones three times, however, your harvest comes to an abrupt end.
