Here, you can purchase new cosmetic items from their shop by spending PP, which can be earned from various objectives, boss fights, and loot as you progress through the game.

By the time you finish the game’s first chapter, you will have picked up enough PP to purchase a couple of new items. Alternatively, you can visit Tolkien at the Armory and navigate to the Cosmetics tab, which will allow you to view all items you have unlocked and change which ones you have equipped to your New Kid.
