Honkai: Star Railhas revealed more information about its upcoming Version 1.1 update, set to feature three new characters and plenty of events next month. The popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse announced its first post-launch Special Program broadcast earlier this week, preparing to unveil plenty of new features coming to the game. While the broadcast would end up seeinga delay from its original timeslot, theGenshin Impactdeveloper shared a plethora of new updates for the game on Friday night.
Since the game’s debut late last month,Honkai: Star Railhas seen overwhelming success for theGenshin Impactdeveloper throughout its opening weeks. The pre-release campaign forStar Railwould set records for the Hong Kong-based developer, amassing over 10 million pre-registrations and topping App Store charts before its official launch. Following its April 26th release,Star Railwould only need one day to amass more than 20 million downloads from HoYoverse’s excited fanbase. Now, the newest update to the game will bring several new playable characters alongside a variety of events.

The Version 1.1 Special Program forHonkai: Star Rail, titled “Galactic Roaming,” showed off the three newest characters set to join the game’s roster. Silver Wolf will feature throughout the first half of Version 1.1 as a Quantum element character in the Nihility path, focusing on debuffing and featuring a unique skill to add weaknesses to enemies. The second half of the update will debut the Imaginary Abundance character Luocha as a support character with powerful healing abilities. Luocha’s banner will also feature the game’snewest four-star character in Yukong, also serving as a support in the Imaginary element.
Alongside its new lineup of characters, Version 1.1 will introduce multiple new events forStar Railplayers to partake in during the update. The update’s main event, “Ledger of Curiosities,” features players taking the reins of the Everwinter City Museum in a management-style mini-game. Version 1.1 will feature another main event focused around new character Silver Wolf, with players tracking down graffiti left by the hackerthroughout Herta Space Station. Several smaller events, like bonus rewards from Calyxes and combat-themed events, will also run during the update.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.1 update will look to maintain the strong momentum the game saw on its release, adding more characters and more things to do. The addition of Luocha and Yukong will bring two new Imaginary element characters to the RPG, withWelt being the only Imaginary characterto appear in the game’s launch roster. The events will also include a variety of opportunities for players to earn more Stellar Jades for the game’s gacha.Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.1 update is set to offer plenty of content for fans of the sci-fi RPG.
