A couple of days ago,Honkai: Star Rail’s social media accounts revealed the splash art for two new characters, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, which usually means that they will be released in 6–7 weeks. This means that players can expect these two characters to arrive during Version 2.4.
Therecent Special Program livestream for Version 2.3announced a couple of interesting upcoming characters, by showing their in-game silhouettes. One of those characters is the long-awaited Feixiao, also known as one of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Alliance’s Cloud Knights. Honkai: Star Rail’s ongoing storylinehas revealed that Yunli is a famous sword hunter from the Xianzhou Zhuming and her grandfather is the legendary General Huaiyan, also known as the Flamng Heart. At the moment, her main life goal is to hunt down and destroy all the cursed swords in the universe. When it comes to Feixiao, there is not a lot of official information, but many fans expect her to be a new five-star character.
Feixiao’s silhouette, revealed in the Special Program, indicates that he will be using a dual-wielding weapon.PreviousHonkai: Star Railleakshave suggested that Feixiao’s kit includes two summons and DoT effects, similar to Black Swan. It should be noted that since Yunli is expected to arrive earlier than Feixiao, the leaks about her kit might be more credible compared to the info about Feixiao.
While Yunli’s official release date has not been officially confirmed, she will likely be featured in the first banner phase in update 2.4, since she was introduced before Jiaoqiu. Following the game’s usual update schedule,Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.4should drop around July 30.
