It’s been a whopping five years sinceHollow Knight: Silksongwas first announced, and so it’s understandable that many fans are concerned that the game is running into development problems. There are those who fear the project is trapped in development hell and will never actually see the light of day, but playtester Graig has alleviated those worries.As reported by GamesRadar, Graig recently took to Discord to stress that the game isnot in development hell. While this is certainly good news, it’s hard to faultHollow Knightfans for being frustrated at the lack ofSilksongupdates.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is Not in Development Hell

As previously mentioned,Hollow Knight: Silksongupdates have been few and far between since the game was first announced in 2019. Since the game was once meant to come out in the first half of 2023, fans have been tuning in to all the big gaming showcases hoping to get an update onHollow Knight: Silksong, but one after another, they are left disappointed.Hollow Knight: Silksongno-showed the recent gaming events, with the game nowhere to be found during the Xbox Games Showcase, Summer Game Fest, or the latest Nintendo Direct.

Anyone holding out hope thatHollow Knight: Silksongwill pop up at some later event will want to take note of Gamescom Opening Night Live, which takes place on August 20,and The Game Awards 2024, which is scheduled for December 12. There will almost assuredly be more Nintendo Directs and PlayStation State of Plays later this year as well, so fans can always keep their fingers crossed for the game to pop up at one of those, but if the past five years have taught us anything, it’s best to keep one’s expectations in check when it comes toHollow Knight: Silksong.
