There are various collectibles players can find while exploring the open world of Zeta Halo inHalo Infinite–including the Fog Skull. As with most other Skulls, it adds a challenging modifier to the campaign difficulty. Its particular modifier disables the motion tracker, making it harder to locate enemies.
Locating the Fog Skull inHalo Infiniteis required to unlock the Catacomb Achievement for finding all Skulls, and the Headmaster Achievement for completing all main missions on Legendary with all Skulls active.

Fog Skull Location in Halo Infinite
The Fog Skull inHalo Infiniteis located inside the hexagonal cliffs, southwest ofOutpost Tremoniusfound in the northern sector of the map. It’s easier to get the Fog Skull by flying a vehicle directly to its elevated position. However,if players don’t have access to a Pelican or Banshee, they can travel west of FOB Alpha and walk along the edge of the lower hexagonal cliffs to find the Skull.
It will require the use of theGrappleshot inHalo Infiniteto climb the cliffs and reach the Fog Skull. An upgraded Grappleshot with a reduced cooldown will speed up the climbing, but it can still be done with no upgrades if players find slightly taller cliffs to grapple to around the surrounding area.

If the Grappleshot has been upgraded, go to the large structure in the middle of these cliffs with no platforms and just keep using the hook as soon as it recharges on higher levels inside the structure. Once the top has been reached, follow the unique sound of the collectible. The FogSkull inHalo Infiniteis beside some red debris overlooking more cliffs in the distance.
Players must navigate back to the main menu in order toactivate Skulls inHalo Infinite. There is no limit to how many can be activated at once. When the Fog Skull is turned on, it will disable the Master Chief’s motion tracker, which makes it harder to locate enemies.

There are 11 more Skulls to find in the game, but some can only be located while playing campaign missions. As missions can not be currently repeated, players will have to start a new save file to collect any missed collectibles.
Thankfully, Skull progress carries over, so any found in one playthrough will count as a collectible on another save file. Although it is inconvenient to start a new game to search for collectibles, developer 343 Industries is adding replayable campaign missions in a future update.
Halo Infiniteis out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
