Granblue Fantasy Versusis a brand new fighting game developed by Arc System Works. The studio is also known for itsother recent fighting game,Dragon Ball FighterZ, as well as other anime-style fighting games. Like other games by the studio,Granblue Fantasy Versusoffers multiple color variations for the playable characters, but a large appeal to many players is the availability of alternate weapon skins.
WithGranblue Fantasy Versushaving come out on Steam on March 13th, there are still many new players that are unsure of how to unlock the weapon skins for the base characters of the game. The majority of unlock methods involve the RPG Mode, but others require some tricky methods to obtain them.

The second weapon skins for the base characters are known as “Vryn” weapon skins. These all require completing various hidden quests that have been already figured out by the community.
Vryn Skins
Charlotta- Upon entering the shop menu, listen to the full dialogue 10 times.
Ferry- In RPG Mode, get a Game Over 5 times.
Gran- Achieve 100% damage cut three times. Both characters are required to use the Phalanx support skill at the same time. Due to this, it is highly recommended that players haveanother player alongside themto fulfill this requirement.
Katalina- Equip any other Vryn weapon in the grid and complete any Katalina battle.
Ladiva- As Ladiva, taunt three times in one battle.
Lowain- Defeat Yggdrasil without a partner as Lowain.
Metera- Go into the options and disable automatic cutscene skip. Then, manually skip 20 cutscenes.
Zeta- Defeat Proto Bahamut as Zeta three times.
RPG Mode Skins
All weapons that are available asdrops in RPG modeare also craftable in the shop and can be obtained via using Premium Tickets through the draw function. However, these are the methods to obtain these skins as drops.
Weapon 3- Dropped randomly in a character’s Hard Mode raid.
Weapon 4- Automatically obtained as an A-Rank reward in a character’s Normal Mode raid.
Weapon 5- Automatically obtained upon completing a character’s Hard Mode raid without using any support skills.
Weapon 6- Automatically obtained for completing specific story battles.
Weapon 7- Only available through crafting in the shop.
After being obtained, the weapon skins can be used any time in normal battles. WithGranblue Fantasy Versuscoming to EVO 2020, many players will be practicing for the tournament, and these unlock methods might help some players get the practice they need to master the game.
