Genshin Impactachievements can range from extremely easy to complete, to quite opaque and complicated. One achievement that isn’t exactly clear is the “What Difference Does This Make?” achievement in Enkanomiya. To get thisGenshin Impactachievement, players will have to find a hidden NPC by sitting on a rock in a relatively hidden corner of the map. That NPC will then instruct players to go sit on more rocks spread throughout Enkanomiya
Fortunately, once the player knows where to look, this achievement should be quite easy to achieve. The precious chest reward is nothing to scoff at either.

Where To Find Kabayama
To start the process of earning this achievement and the precious chest it awards, players will first have to find the ghost NPC named Kabayama. To find this NPC,begin by heading to the center of Enkanomiya, Dainishi Mikoshi. The easiest place to begin is the easternmost teleport of Dainishi Mikoshi, east of theBathysmal Vishap Herd boss battle.
From this teleport, there will be a dirt pathway to the player’s right. Follow this path to the fork. From here, make the left turn on the path and head inside the open panel on the wall ahead.
Inside, the player will find a large rock sitting underneath a lantern. Sitting on it will spawn Kabayama to give players instructions on what to do next.
The Serpent’s Heart Lantern
Once the player has talked to Kabayama, it’s time to begin the actual hunt for the three lanterns, sitting on the rocks underneath them at every stop. The order in which players find these lanterns does not matter, so feel free to seek them out in whichever order makes sense.
For the sake of this guide, the first lantern is located in The Serpent’s Heart, the island directly south of Dainishi Mikoshi. Teleport to the direct middle teleport location of The Serpent’s Heart. The lantern will be directly in front of the player, atop a cliff in front of the teleport location. Simply climb up this cliff and sit on the rock underneath the lantern, progressing the dialogue to the next point.
Evernight Temple Lantern
The next stop on the player’s journey to find Kabayama’s lanterns will lead to theEvernight Temple, the island directly east of Dainishi Mikoshi. Teleport to the location in the middle of the island on the Northern side, right below the green grassy section of the map. From this location, head directly southeast, past the statue of the robed figure, until the player can see an arched tree in the distance with a lantern. There should be a pyro abyss mage sitting directly on top of the rock which is the player’s goal. Once again, sit on the rock and progress the dialogue.
The Narrows Lantern
The final rock and lantern combo is located on The Narrows, the island directly north of Dainishi Mikoshi. On this island, teleport to the northeastern teleport location, directly to the left of the grassy area. Much like the very first lantern, the player should be able to make out the location of this lantern from the teleport point, as it will be attached to a broken archway directly behind them. This is the final lantern and rock that the player must find, so proceed to sit on the rock and progress the dialogue one last time.
Claiming Kabayama’s Precious Chest
Once the player has successfully located all of Kabayama’s lanterns in Enkanomiya, all that’s left is to return to Kabayama himself. Kabayama will be located in the same place that the player last spoke to him, so once again head to the middle island, Dainishi Mikoshi. Upon talking to Kabayama, the player will be rewarded with a precious chest and the “What Difference Does This Make?” achievement.
