Genshin Impacthas revealed a character demo for a new playable unit, the Dendro user Kirara. The game usually releases a couple of promotional videos before each new roster addition that goes deeper into a character’s story. Kirara has been officially announced in the recent Special Program event.
Genshin Impact’s live stream also confirmed that she will be the only new character which means that the two upcoming banner cycles will feature four different re-runs. Update 3.7 has officially been scheduled to arrive to the live servers on May 24, one day after the ongoing Baizhu and Ganyu double banner expires.

Genshin Impact’s official YouTube channel has finally revealed the character demo for their new four-star Dendro character Kirara. She will be the first Dendro user from the Inazuma region which means that Mondstadt will remain the only region that does not feature a character that uses this Vision. Her official bio has confirmed that Kirara is very dedicated to her job at the Komaniya Express, a popular delivery company in the Electro nation. The video proved that Kirara delivers her packages all over the world of Teyvat, from Inazuma and Sumeru, to Mondstadt and Liyue. One of the reasons why she is exceptional in her job is probably the fact thatKirara can curl up into a delivery boxwhich grants additional movement speed and much-needed protection.
Tapping herElemental Skill Meow-teor Kickwill make Kriara perform a flying kick that deals AoE Dendro damage and creates a Shield of Safe Transport. The shield’s strength scales with Kirara’s max. HP which means that players should focus on this stat while building the new Dendro character.
Kirara’s Elemental Burst, Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch, has a much simpler effect and it allows her to deploy a special delivery package that deals AoE Dendro damage. After it explodes, the package will split up into many Dendro mines that explode upon contact, similar to Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty. When it comes to her exact release date, HoYoverse confirmed that she will appear on the first banner inGenshin Impactversion 3.7.
This banner will feature the Pyro bow user Yoimiya and the Electro catalyst Yae Miko as the limited five-star characters. Yoimiya is probably thebest Pyro DPS character inGenshin Impactat the moment and she specializes in dealing single-target damage. Yae Miko is a unique character that can be used in almost every team composition that needs a strong Electro user thanks to her Seshou Sakura totems.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
