AGenshin Impactplayer shares a screenshot of a mysterious message they received during one of their loading screens. The game’s loading screens usually contain tips for players which are usually related to the region they are currently in or a place they are teleporting to.
However, these messages can also include some subtle hints about the ongoing or upcoming parts of the storyline, which creates even more hype for the new updates. The currentGenshin Impactversion 3.4 has reintroduced the Lantern Rite Festival, one of the largest annual events in the game which celebrates the Lunar New Year. This event is always held in the Liyue region, and it gathers playable characters from all over the world of Teyvat.

Reddit user “Dracorvo” has shared a mysterious loading screen message that reads “A Message for “You”. We Will Meet Again.” which intrigued many fans in the community as the post reached over 8k upvotes on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit. Players claim that this is probably a subtle announcement of the upcoming events which will reveal more information about the Traveler and their sibling. The Traveler’s main goal in the world of Teyvat is to find their long-lost sibling. Aether and Lumine were separated inGenshin Impact’s first cutscene by a mysterious god, better known as the “The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles”.
Some comments have pointed out that updates 1.4 and 2.5 both included quests that gave more insight into the mysterious sibling and their current location in the world of Teyvat which means that 3.5 will most likely follow the same pattern. The official live stream event forGenshin Impactversion 3.5has already confirmed that a very popular NPC named Dainsleif will make a reappearance in the upcoming update.
It should be noted that at the end of the “We Will Be Reunited” quest, Dain went into a portal to chase down the Traveler’s sibling and the Abyss Herald. His next appearance will probably give some additional details that could help the main character in their journey. However, players should probably not expect to find out Dain’s true intentions untilthe game introduces the Khaenri’ah region.
HoYoverse also confirmed that he will join the playable roster at some point in the future. The citizens of Khaenri’ah tried to rebel against the gods of Celestia which caused the nation’s destruction. This led to the creation of the Abyss Order which is one of themain antagonist factions inGenshin Impact.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
