In Truth’s Steps: Part I inGenshin Impacttells the tale of a group of Forest Rangerswho are patrolling the Avidya Forest. However, as Asti and Beydim were patrolling, they came across some monsters and got caught in the rain. The muddy road caused Asti to be trapped, so Beydim was sent to alert the other Forest Rangers instead. However, once everyone regrouped, Beydim was the only one soaking wet among them, despite everyone having sufficient rain gear.
By listening to Bahar’s answer, players will figure out that Beydim is apparently Asti’s companion, a Dusk Bird that can easily fly through the rain and doesn’t require rain gear to travel. This is why Beydim was able to alert the other Forest Rangers despite Asti being stranded in the mud, and why Beydim ends up the only one drenched in the group.
