While diving around the Chemin de L’Espoir,Genshin Impactplayers may come across a blue exclamation mark that indicates a world quest. However, the owner of this marker turns out to be a small Oceanid that’s barely visible in the blue of the ocean. After speaking to the little creature who introduces herself as Ann, she requests the brave knight’s assistance in helping her friend, Petit Chou. Agree to help the Oceanid and head to Annapausis to meet the mighty Hydro-immune foe whom Petit Chou is fighting with Hydro.
The journey will last for a while, and eventually, players need tokeep moving ahead in Ann’s StoryinGenshin Impact, but the solution may not be so obvious and will result in a lot of wasted time for people.
Although it feels like players are stuck in a loop, it’s actually easy to keep moving ahead in Ann’s Storyquest inGenshin Impact. There are two roads that players can take to break the loop:
For the first method, reach the floor withthree Water Detection Crystals. If the floor has less than three of these devices, then keep moving ahead until Travelers reach the correct level. It’s highly recommended to reach the third floor as there’s a Precious Chest to claim there.
Keep moving ahead until players board the elevator, andimmediately look up for an opening in the middle. Hop to the green room as the lift moves to break the loop and progress in Ann’s Storyquest inGenshin Impact. Following the corridor after jumping off the elevator will bring people back to the first floor.

Meanwhile, in the second method,players can simply use the blue door that appears in the room with the Bubble Formation.This will also transport people back to the first floor and allow them to continue Ann’s Story quest.
Ann’s Story In Genshin Impact
The Narzissenkreuz Adventure isa long quest inGenshin Impactwhere players must journey with Ann and her companions to save a Princess from an evil dragon. As people are experiencing the quest, however, there may be some hints that there’s more to this adventure than meets the eye.
Later on, after reaching the Real Annapausis with Ann and meeting Mary-Ann, all the weird feelings are finally confirmed when the girl mentions that Ann, the little Oceanid on the quest to save the Princess, is actually not an actual being. Instead, Ann is a miraculous accident, an entity that’s created from Mary-Ann’s dream.
However, somehow, Ann was able to manifest into an individual of its own, and Mary-Ann wishes the little Oceanid to have its own adventure and discover its own purpose, which terrifies Ann since everything she knows turns out to be a lie, a literal fiction.
After experiencing everything and completing this quest, players can get a short continuation by heading to theGenshin ImpactNarzissenkreuz Ordoin the Institute of Natural Philosophy. After helping Mamere in Ancient Colors quest, visiting this place will also unlock an extra interaction with Seymour, and if both Seymour and Ann are present here, they may end up journeying into Annapausis together.
