Xingqiu is currently one of the most favored Sub-DPS characters inGenshin Impact. This position is well-deserved, considering the Guhua Disciple is useful in many ways. Even after the release of Yelan, who is highly similar to Xingqiu, the Hydro boy remains in the spotlight. This is because, even though Yelan offers far more offensive potential, Xingqiu can provide a lot more defensive value, enough to remove the need for a healer or shielder.
However, for Xingqiu to perform his best inGenshin Impact, one thing players need to ensure is his Elemental Burst’s availability. It’s crucial for the Guhua Disciple to be able to cast his ultimate as soon as the cooldown ends. Otherwise, he will miss out on both his offense and defense. To ensure this, players need to equip Xingqiu with his bestGenshin Impactweapons.
6Festering Desire
Festering Desire is a decent weapon forXingqiu inGenshin Impactfor two reasons. The first is because it boosts his Elemental Skill, which is a hard-hitting skill. The other reason is because of its Energy Recharge passive, which will help Xingqiu unleash his Elemental Burst more often. Sadly, though, this Sword is only available inGenshin Impact1.2, and there’s currently no alternate method to get one.
5Skyward Blade
Just like all other Skyward weapons, Skyward Blade is atop-tier Sword inGenshin Impact. Unfortunately for Xingqiu, he can only benefit from the Sword’s Primary and Secondary Stats. Having 608 Base ATK and 55% Energy Recharge is more than enough to put Xingqiu’s DMG above many Sub-DPS units.
4Harran Geppaku Futsu
Harran Geppaku Futsu is good on Xingqiu purely because of its stats. The weapon’s passive increases the wielding character’s Normal Attack by up to 40%, which is not beneficial for Xingqiu. However, everything else fits perfectly with Xingqiu’s kit.
3Mistsplitter Reforged
As an off-field Sub-DPS unit, Xingqiu is like most other DPS characters. He depends on ATK and CRIT to inflict DMG. Mistsplitter Reforged helps Xingqiu reach the highest damage potential byhaving a set of great stats and passives.

Primordial Jade Cutter is one of thebest 5-star Swords inGenshin Impact. Other than its decent Base ATK, Jade Cutter also adds a whopping 44% CRIT Rate to its wielder, which will skyrocket their DMG. For Xingqiu, everything Primordial Jade Cutter offers fits perfectly. Even the weapon’s passive adds 20% HP and further buffs Xingqiu’s ATK%. All in all, Primordial Jade Cutter is a great weapon for Xingqiu inGenshin Impact.
1Sacrificial Sword
Ever since therelease ofGenshin Impact, it didn’t take long for players to notice that Sacrificial Sword is the best Sword for Xingqiu. What Xingqiu desperately needs is a way to always have his Elemental Burst ready, since it requires a huge amount of energy. Sacrificial Sword helps Xingqiu by casting his Skill twice to gain double the energy.
The best part is that Xingqiu’s DMG won’t massively drop because of Sacrificial Sword’s low Base ATK and ER Secondary stats. Emblem of Severed Fate gives Xingqiu back some of his lost DMG, whichprotects Sacrificial from falling offwhen compared to other Swords.
