Of course, in order for that to work, Beidou has to be built with the right set of artifacts and the right Claymore. Since the game now expands into the region of Sumeru and Dendro, the item collection grow to include more artifacts and Claymores. For that, this article should be updated to keep Beidou’s build up to date.

The best option for Beidou is to operate her as an off-field Sub-DPS that can spread her Electro DMG all over the battlefield while another character reaps the benefits. Having4-Noblesse Obligeallows Beidou to perfectly take that role while boosting her team’s ATK by 20%. It’s crucial since it gives her a supportive ability to complement her kit.

For players that want to go full DMG on Beidou’s Stormbreaker, go with4-Emblem of Severed Fatesince it grants her a crazy amount of DMG on her Elemental Burst based on her Energy Recharge, which is anotherGenshin Impactstat she badly needs to keep her Burst active. Players can also go with2-Thundering Furyfor 15% Electro DMG, and2-Noblesse Obligefor 20% Burst DMG. If not Noblesse then choose one of the artifacts that add 18% ATK, such asGladiator’s Finale, Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, Vermillion Hereafter, and Echoes of an Offering.
Beidou can also trigger an endless amount of Electro-charged, Quicken, and Aggravate reactions when off-field. For Electro-Charged, ATK% doesn’t help as Beidou only needs more Elemental Mastery to increase her Reaction DMG. For that,2-Gilded Dreamsand2-Wanderer’s Troupeare Beidou’s best artifact options since they grant her 160 Elemental Mastery. Players can also go for4-Thundering Furyto add 40% extra DMG on her Electro Reactions and 20% DMG on herDendro Reactions inGenshin Impact.
However, if players are playing Beidou in a Quicken team with Dendro characters, then she will still need Electro DMG Bonus and Critical Rate or DMG.
Beidou gets a decent shield onher first Constellation inGenshin Impact. That shield help protect her team from incoming DMG, especially the Electro hits. It scales with her Max HP so stacking her HP is crucial to maximizing the shield’s DMG absorption. Only2-Tenacity of the Millelithpassive grants 20% extra HP for its character while2-Emblem of Severed Fateenhances Beidou’s Energy Recharge by 20%, which will help Beidou cast her Elemental Burst more frequently.This build is not very recommended as there are better shielders, but it works decently if players insists on doing it.

Since the main focus for Sub-DPS Beidou is to stack as much ATK% as possible on her, it’s best to useWolf’s Gravestoneto add all the extra ATK% the Claymore offers. In addition, Wolf’s Gravestone grantsBeidou’s team inGenshin Impacta whopping 40% extra ATK% when she hits an enemy under 30% HP.
AkuoumaruandLuxurious Sea Lordare strong 4-star options since they buff her Elemental Burst, which will be what Beidou will count on in this build. Finally, for F2P, go forBlackcliff Slashersince its CRIT DMG substat gives Beidou more DMG to work with.
Off-field Electro-Charge and Quicken Beidou
When building Beidou fully to trigger Reactions,Rainslasheris an outstanding pick because of its 165 Elemental Mastery substat that further stacks more of that stat on Beidou. Players can also go for an R5Forest Regaliato benefit from its Energy Recharge substat and the Leaf of Consciousness that buffs the character’s Elemental mastery who picked it up by 120. The newSumeru Forgeable weapons inGenshin Impactfinally have more presence in the current Meta.
Shielder Beidou
For shielder build, Beidou should wield forThe BellorFerrous Shadowto maximize her HP% and further empower her ability to shield her team.
